Our beautiful villa is located in East Beach Village a 60 second walk to the beach, also located 600 yards from Night Heron Park and Nature Center and ½ mile from the luxurious Sanctuary Hotel & Spa.
Kiawah has one of the finest private beaches on the east coast in a natural setting on an island that just makes you feel relaxed and at home, whether you are taking a walk or reading a book. Kiawah is not only a great golf and tennis location but also a very romantic beach destination. Kiawah has 10 miles of beautiful beach, bike trails galore and nature all around you.
Watch a brown pelican dive in the ocean for fish or a Great Blue Heron flying over the lagoon or turtles sunning in mid afternoon. Enjoy the palm trees and live oaks with Spanish moss hanging off of their limbs. It’s all here and much much more. There are 4 golf courses on the island (Cougar, Turtle, Osprey and the famed Ocean course) and 1 just off the island (Oak) and many other golf courses in the area.
Kiawah is located 30 minutes away from the romantic city of Charleston with plenty of shopping, fine dining and tourist attractions. You will also find Kiawah Island offers fine dining and shopping both on and just off the island. But if you chose to stay in for dinner, you can sample some of the islands fresh vegetables and seafood from some of the locals.
Our villa was renovated in 2005 and has all new furniture and decorations from stores like Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn along with new stainless steel refrigerator, stove and microwave, a brand new washer and dryer and a complete renovation of the bathroom and hallway in 2006 with granite and tile. Our screened in porch overlooks a quiet lagoon with woods and wildlife. Our screened porch has a café table for 2, a porch swing and a chair from which to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds that Kiawah has to offer.

Can't wait to go back!

This was our first visit to Kiawah and we can't wait to go back next year. We typically rent in Hilton Head, Isle of Palms, or at Tybee Beach in Savannah, GA. This is by far our new favorite! This villa fit my husband, myself, and our two children (ages 6 & 11) perfectlyl The villa and location are exactly as described in this listing. It had everything we needed and everything worked great! It was also very clean and had no strange odors (that you often find in rentals). The a/c kept us comfortably cool and the water pressure in the shower was fabulous - just what you need to rid yourself of the sand :) I was concerned about the bed being comfortable and was pleasantly surprised that we slept like babies every night - it was a very good quality bed. The owner was very responsive and helpful to any questions we had while preparing for our vacation. The island itself has a lot to offer; the water is calm, the breezes abundant, no crowds, and everywhere we went we found friendly people. It was simply AWESOME. You'll love it!
Owner response:You now understand why everyone that comes to Kiawah loves it! Between the beach, people, restaurants and relaxed atmosphere……how could you go wrong. And each year you will find the vacations just get better as you find more things to do and discover new places on the island. I am glad you and your family found our villa comfortable….…and not like a rental but like a small piece of home. We look forward to having you come back!

Perfect Relaxing Week for Nature Lovers

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Kiawah. We liked the accommodations, the comfortable mattress on the king-sized bed, the view from the large balcony, and the well-supplied kitchen. I was thrilled that the refrigerator had an ice maker and filtered water dispenser. The weather was absolutely perfect the entire time we were there (third week in April)! We walked over to the Night Heron Nature Center and rented our bikes. We rode for several hours each day. (I'd advise renters to rent the bikes on-line before coming because they will save a few dollars. Our bikes with one basket cost us almost $100 for the week). We are avid nature lovers so we enjoyed riding the bikes to Marsh Island Park, taking photographs of birds and alligators, visiting inside Night Heron Park's Nature Center, and walking along the beach which was an easy walk from the condo. There were no crowds anywhere which was delightful. We enjoyed walking through all the beautiful shops at Freshfields Village on John's Island. We also spent a day off the island and visited several places on our way to Charleston. We enjoyed seeing the Angel Tree Park, touring Audubon Swamp (which had many seabirds, alligators and a Great Egret rookery), touring the Yorktown aircraft carrier, and taking the Ghost Walk Tour in the city of Charleston. We looked in the packet of materials left by Resort Quest and took their recommendation to go to Gilligan's for dinner on John's Island. We had a delicious steak dinner at a very reasonable price and used the coupon left by Resort Quest for a free piece of key lime pie! The pie was homemade and the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had several questions after we rented the condo and sent an e-mail to the owner. He promptly responded and was so helpful. The photos accurately reflected the appearance of the condo. I would definitely recommend this property.
Owner response:In Kiawah and Charleston there is so much to do and you obviously took advantage of all it had to offer. I am so glad you enjoyed yourselves and our condo.

We stayed here for a week in April. Loved this villa! A true "home away from home." The location is excellent. One minute to beach, bike paths (one is right behind the villa), and nature center. The villa is very comfortable, and we loved the way it is decorated. Very homey. Got a great night's sleep every night. Loved the back screened porch overlooking the lagoon. Great enjoying a morning cup of coffee & watching a resident alligator in the lagoon. We cooked in a couple of nights and made breakfast each morning. All of the cooking utensils we needed were there. You can buy groceries at a grocery store just a mile past the entrance at a new shopping plaza called "Freshfields." We would recommend renting bikes from the Nature Center. Walk over to pick up your bikes, don't wait for delivery or you could be waiting all day instead of riding. Kiawah Island is beautiful. Biking on the beach is a blast. We love nature & the outdoors. If you do too, we recommend a visit & this villa.
