As written in guest book: As an Australian visitor, it was wonderful to find this charming home in such a quiet setting. Everything was exactly as advertised and more. I especially loved being within walking distance to some hiking trails and certainly convenient to most everything. Thanks for making my stay wonderful.

As written in Guest Book: Prior to our arrival, we requested that no chemical products be used for cleaning because of severe allergies. We were so thrilled to find this house spotless and chemical free! The beds were comfortable, the home was clean, the location is good and quiet. We flew in from New Zealand so were thankful for the "breakfast basket" that was left for us. Everything about Kauai was wonderful and we will come again! Thanks again for your great hospitality.

As entered in our Guest Book: We made a trip to Kauai and brought my Mother who, with us, desired to visit the Salva Siddhanta Church in Wailua. Our choice was perfect as we were close to the Church and because of this central location, we were able to do sightseeing and shopping quite easily. Our stay was wonderful and we will come again.

As written in our Guest Book: As a visiting Doctor for Wilcox hospital, I was delighted to be able to rent a "home" during my 9 month stay on Kauai. From Nov until August 2011, I was able to enjoy all the privacy that comes with a home. The area is very quite and safe and was only a short distance to the Hospital which is important in case of an emergency. I highly recommend this charming home to anyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable home away from home.

Note from Guest Book (October thru Feb 2011) Since we are retired now we decided we would get out of the cold weather early and spend our winter in Hawaii. We chose Kauai because everyone talked it up so much. Thanks to finding your lovely home and your warm hospitality, we enjoyed every day that we were on Kauai--even the rain days which occurred during our 4 1/2 mo stay. We loved being close to the hiking trails and the beautiful beach at Wailua. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location and enjoyed the charm of your home. Taken from the guest book: We all loved Kauai. It is absolutely beautiful. We loved "Rainbow Trails". The home was quite comfortable and just as other guests have said, had everything we needed. The boys loved being so close to hiking trails and enjoyed the horses grazing along the trail. We really enjoyed the Lava Wall beach at Wailua. It was safe for the children and quite beautiful. There is also a wonderful playground for children at Wailua Beach park. Thanks for making our stay special!

As written in our Guest Book: I was sent to Kauai to do some work here. I rented this vacation home because it was both convenient to town and had everything I needed ready to go. After getting settled in, my wife and 2 sons joined me for our three month stay. The owners were great and were accomodating to our every need. We very much enjoyed being able to walk out the door and enter the Sleeping Giant hiking trails. We were just minutes from the beach, town, shopping and everything we needed. We are now off to Guam but certainly plan to return to Kauai and if we can, we will stay at this home again!

We found staying here in Wailua (Kapaa) was quite convenient for island activities. If you like to walk, take your morning walk on Wailua beach. Miles of beautiful beach and ocean--just wonderful. Our "home away" had everything we needed--and more! The owners were delightful! We plan to return again. Maaahalo!

It is a great location for hiking and perfect for daily sightseeing trips. Kauai is beautiful. We will plan to stay longer on our next trip because there was so much more to do. Try Scotty's Beachside BBQ in Kapaa. Beautiful ocean setting and really terrific food. We will absolutely recommend your home to our friends. As they say here, Mahalo.

Comment from Guest book: We had an unexpected opportunity to visit Kauai. With late notice we were a bit concerned about finding good accomodations. We found Rainbow Trails on VRBO and really lucked out. The home is even nicer in person and the information is absolutely correct--it is CLOSE to everything! We loved our 12 day stay and plan to return again and will book this house--it fit our needs PERFECTLY! Don't miss Duke's Salad Bar at the Marriott Hotel--one of the best Salad bars we've ever enjoyed. We also loved the Smith's Luau and recommend it if you want to get the feel of "old Hawaii". As they say "aloha and mahalo".

We were planning to visit all of the Hawaiian Islands during a 2 month visit. However, we got to Kauai and with great accomodations that we had a Rainbow Trails and we decided we would spend longer on Kauai. There was so much to do and we loved this island so much, that we ended up spending our entire stay in our cute little home away from home. The owners were so gracious and we were able to spend time with them and their visiting family. It was a wonderful two months and we hope to be able to come back soon. We love exploring the outdoors and the location of this home allowed us to have access to many of Kauai's nicest hiking trails. Just a great visit--all that we expected and MORE!

As other guests have mentioned in the guest book, everything we needed was there. We truly enjoyed our stay on Kauai. Golfing was great, the beaches were beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking trails by the house. We had a few rain days, and we used these to relax and catch up on our reading--which was great. We hope to return again and see some of the sights we weren't able to do this visit. Mahalo for your thoughtfulness in preparing this home.

We were delighted with all the unexpected amenities that we found in Rainbow Trails. This was our first trip to Kauai and we are so glad that we stayed in Wailua since it really is in the "middle" of island activities. Our month stay was so enjoyable, I don't know where to start commenting. Our little girls enjoyed feeding the wild chickens that wondered by from time to time and also the fabulous Lydgate childrens park. The beaches were wonderful and there is so much to see and do that a month simply isn't long enough. We will keep Kauai on our list of vacation favorites and we plan to return. Again thank you for such a lovely rental home, it truly felt like our home away from home.

We enjoyed discovering the beautiful hiking trails behind the house and the wonderful views from the mountain top. The island is so beautiful, we could understand why so many movies are made here.
