ON ISLAND OWNERS-we are here ensuring this unit is in perfect condition to welcome you to Maui. Recently painted and furnished, kitchen and both bathrooms remodeled Aug 2008 (new granite, tile, appliances etc); this top floor unit has the best panoramic ocean views in Grand Champions of the Pacific Ocean, West Maui Mountains, Kahoolawe, and Molokini.
The complex is right on the Wailea Blue Golf Course and next to the Wailea Tennis Center. The condo is 2BR/2 full baths; 1 on each side of the unit-giving you good privacy; approx 1100 sq. ft. This was our second home and we have furnished it lovingly with high end tropical decor. It is fully furnished with linens, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, cooler, etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen, and ceiling fans and air conditioners in each bedroom and the LR.
During whale season (December through March) you can sit on the large lanai (patio) and watch the whales frolic in the warm waters of Maui. You'll want to eat your meals outside on the spacious lanai and enjoy Maui's fabulous sunsets each evening.
The complex has 2 good sized pools and each has a hot tub (spa). There are 2 BBQ areas; 1 at each pool. The Homeowner's Association keeps the complex in top shape with luscious tropical landscaping.
Off our large lanai (patio) there are stairs down to one of the pools-making the unit unsafe for families with young children but very convenient to get to the pool and to BBQ.
Reserved parking right next to the unit; security guard on site from sunset each evening until early morning. Property manager on site.
A car is necessary to enjoy Maui properly. Maui's top beaches are a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive away. Fabulous shopping is a 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk (we often walked down for an ice cream after dinner). On Wednesday evenings, the Shops at Wailea feature artists and music entertainment in the center court by the fountain.
Several restaurants within walking distance and many, many within 10 minute drive. Grocery stores are near by as is a lovely wine shop. Our visitor book will give you all our favorite places and other helpful information.

The condo has free high speed internet provided as well as cable TV (there is no computer in the unit). Free North America long distance.
Basic amenities include starter provisions of Dawn dish soap, Cascade dishwasher powder, paper towels, TP, laundry detergent. Kitchen cupboard usually has foil, coffee filters, seasonings and other non-perishables.
Check in is 3pm; check out is 10am. Earlier or later times are possible depending on arriving/departing guests. 1/2 day or full day rate may be charged for late check out.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Champions
We were frequent visitors to Wailea for many years. We love the beauty of the resort, the ameneties, the gorgeous beaches, the ease in walking or biking where you want to go. The weather is more consistent than any where else on the island and is generally sunny with nice cooling trade winds. There are many resort and public golf courses near by, as well as tennis courts, snorkeling and diving spots, great casual and fine dining restaurants, hiking, biking, boat trips etc. There is plenty to do if you want a busy vacation and lots of beautiful spots to just sit and relax. Our complex has 2 great pools, barbeques, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Our view is incomparable and we loved nothing better than to wake up and see the view and hear the palms rustling in the breeze.
Fantastic views, good rates, enjoyable course to play. Condo complex located between the 6th, 7th and 8th fairways.
A great family beach location, lots of amenities and great beach. Less than a 5 minute drive away.
Safeway, Outback Steakhouse, Hilo Hatties, ABC Store, BALE Vietnamese restaurant, Blockbuster video, Borders, Subway, Roger Dunn Golf, and our favorite restaurant: ROYS! About a 10 minute drive.
A bustling area of shops and dining. Park and walk up and down South Kihei Rd.

We spent 2 fabulous weeks in this wonderful condo! I almost don't want to give a review, so it doesn't get overbooked as we will go back next year!! This condo is perfect location to the pool, great view of of the ocean and easy to get to Kihea, shops at Wilea and our new favorite restaurant - the Monkey Pod. Condo was well stocked with blankets, towels, pillows, boogie boards and coolers for the beach! VERY roomy for all 5 of us. Also loved the large couch, great for cuddling!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I had a great time staying here for our vacation. The owner of the facility provided everything our family needed and even some things we did not know we needed. Beach towels, beach toys for kids, boogie board, lawn chairs, etc. were all provided and made our stay more pleasant. The owner's personal guidebook was a nice touch that came in handy. Owner was extremely responsive and gracious in all communications. Apartment was exactly as described in all the other 5 star reviews. The only word of caution is for families with very young kids - this unit is up 3 flights of stairs so I could imagine it would not be ideal for young infants. My kids were 3 and 5 and it was just fine for them but I still remember what it was like to have to lug a stroller up stairs, etc.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Two couples stayed at the Condo February 14 - 19, 2011. Everything represented about the condo met expectations. The view was great to the ocean and the deck (lanai) sat above the complex swimming pool. Refreshing to find a kitchen well stocked with great pots, pans, and utensils to cook with. Grounds were well maintained. Gas grills and pool area were cleaned daily. Gardeners were out daily, paying special attention to the landscaping. Truly felt like we were in paradise. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

This property is absolutely fantastic. The listing could not be more accurate, in fact it probably doesn't do this adorable place justice. It is meticulously well maintained by the owners, immaculately clean, and has everything a family of five could possibly need, including a washer/dryer and dvd player, both of which came in quite handy during our holiday. We stayed for a week, and were delighted that the condo was so well located in Wailea, five minutes drive from several gorgeous beaches and a 10-min drive from shopping areas. We loved the swimming pool and hot tub right outside the condo, but what really impressed us was all the fun beach gear in the closet :) there were plenty of beach towels, sandcastle kits, beach chairs, boogie boards, inflatable mattresses and snorkel gear that kept three kids -- including two teenagers --more than adequately entertained. We enjoyed a few sunsets from our own balcony, and the kitchen was superbly equipped, making it easy to cook and serve meals. We really appreciated how extremely gracious, helpful and quick to respond the owners were when we contacted them for a check-out concern. We would DEFINITELY recommend this property to everyone, and we hope to come back to it next year!

Stayed for 8 days in Feb/2010, Condo is very nice & very clean. Lanai is great for watching sunset and ocean views. The condo looks over one of 2 pools in the complex. This pool is considered the non-adult pool but we never had any complaints about noise etc..., the bbq area is located inside the pool area and is just down a few flights of stairs(very close). I have stayed in a few of the units at Grand Champions and this one was the best by a wide margin. The condo is fully stocked with a good kitchen set up and lots of beach towels etc. The wireless internet works great as well, sat on the lanai in the morning with my coffee checking my e-mail. A great unit

What a WONDERFUL place to stay in Wailea. Off the beaten path, quiet, comfortable, roomy. Perfect accomodation for couples travelling together, as the rooms are at opposite ends of the condo...ALOT of privacy!!!Every amenity you need while on vacation. We have stayed here on two separate vacations, and will as often as there is availability on the dates we travel.

Having hada stressful experience with Go Airlines (don't Go Go unless you have to) from Oahu we entered the condo with a sigh of relief. What a great set up!!! Thank you soooo much for not having uncomfortable wicker furniture. Our younger daughter really liked U of H. Might be back more often.
