"The Best Vacation Rental Value on the Coast"

Stay in a Fort Bragg original! Built in 1910, the Fawn Lane Farmhouse was the original farmhouse for a 17 acre truck farm just on the east edge of town. Massive redwood timbers, flagstone, wood burning fireplace, and lots of charm found here! Big kitchen for cooking up vacation feasts, or go out to eat in any number of the great local restaurants. Free wireless broadband internet access is always on (in case you aren't still living in 1910!).

Two charming old bedrooms on the lower level. One with a view of the garden through the old redwood framed picture windows, the other with a modern jetted spa tub and walk-in tile shower. Upstairs is the "bunk house" - great for kids, or fun loving adults. The house also includes two fold-out sleepers for a maximum sleeping capacity of 10 people.

The house sits on 1.25 (+/-) acres just on the east edge of town. Often when the town is foggy, it's sunny at Fawn Lane. There is also a pasture and fenced corral with 3 stalls and a little barn for horses if you want to bring a horse or 3 ! The house is pet friendly. Also in the back is a fire pit and a big yard.

"I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful stay at your house. It was so nice to have all of that space and for the boys to play outside. We had a great time. It was too cold to play long at the beach, but we had a great time just hanging out at the house. We usually only make a family trip their once a year, but now we are hoping to make another trip this year. We bought a meat tenderizer (for abalone) and left it there to add to your great kitchen cooking selection so that we will have one each time we come. Just wanted to you know that we had a great time and plan to come back and we tell everyone we know about it."

  • we stayed for six wonderful days in this rustic,quaint house and we really enjoyed it! it was quiet,relaxing great place to spend quality time together! we cooked great meals in the well stocked kitchen.the beds were so comfortable! the spa tub was fantastic!! all the neighbors were so nice! we did quite alot of walking and we seen alot of deer! i plan to tell everyone about this gem of a house! we go to ft.bragg every year and this will definetly be one of the most memorable!!! we definetly plan to return!!!!!   • My two friends and I stayed in the farmhouse in April 08 and had such an enjoyable experience. The house is lovely, large and airy with such uniqueness to it. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen fully stocked with kitchenware and even some commodities. The breakfast nook was a favorite place of ours to sit in the mornings with our coffee to watch the little family of deer that came across the meadow. The fireplace was perfect for the chilly nights. I would recommend the farmhouse to my friends and family for a nice, quiet, relaxing getaway escape from everyday life.
