My son was getting married and we needed a place to stay in Charlottetown for me, my husband, my grown son and daughter, and my 3 year old grandson. This house was a perfect spot, with its central downtown location. The private backyard was a great spot for family BBQs and a pre-wedding celebration. The house was well equipped with everything necessary in the kitchen, a relaxing TV room, and comfortable beds. Lots of linens were provided. It is an older home with lots of character...I loved it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wonderful house in historic Charlottetown. Great location and perfect for us. Our two-year-old loved taking a bath in the claw foot tub. Hope someday we can go back and stay longer.Owner response: Wonderful guests - we were pleased they were able to use the beach supplies, toys, books and portable bed we provide for toddlers. We provide all linens, lots of kitchen supplies, books - so visitors don't have to pack those extras!

My husband and I, along with our three sons used this lovely home as our "away-from-home" base for our eldest son's wedding in Charlottetown, July 2011. The house was perfect for entertaining our of out of town guests. The kitchen was very well equipped. The wonderful backyard allowed us to move about and enjoy the great weather. Its close proximity to the wedding and reception venues was a blessing - even in high heels, it was walkable. There were many excellent restaurants in the "walkable" vicinity. Thanks to the owners for making this an excellent rental.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+.
