I have recommended Our friends at the beach to family and friends. The key to success in the travel/rental/vacation industry is "consistency" & "delivery"! Every time we open the front door of our vacation destination that is managed by our friends at the beach, the condo is clean, the condo smells clean and looks perfect! My Friends at The Beach have the "consistency" & "delivery" elements spot on! Adagio A101 was our most recent family vacation. There were a total of 5 in our party. The home is an end unit, with every amenity that you could imagine needing whilst on vacation, the pictures DO NOT do justice. After 20 yrs., we have literally stayed in every 5 star condo/private home on 30A. The Adagio is one of our favorites for many reasons; it is a gated community with available underground parking. The gym is clean and has all you will need to work out. The pools are both fabulous! The ground unit is truly the way to go; the beach is just a short stroll away. The end unit is the best unit for many reasons; the view of the grassy null and ocean backdrop is right out of a magazine, there is so much privacy, no one but your family will be in your own (basically) private back yard! All of the grounds are maintained well above average. We love the geographical location of the Adagio because it is in Blue Mountain Beach; away from all of the busy traffic. You are close to "Stinky's Fish Camp" our favorite restaurant, and if you are avid cyclists, or runners, there is no place else to stay, seriously! Every vacation destination will encounter a need or request from the renters. On this particular stay, we needed a couple of minor adjustments made. Larry was quick to respond and timely in the final solutions. There was no noise or sound from other units. the only thing we heard was the sound ocean waves. On this trip we witnessed a large sea turtle, several large sting rays, dolphins and even a manatee confirmed by the U.S.C.G. Your family will love the Adagio, you will be enlightened by the other guests and families. You will be like so many of us and call upon Nancy and Larry again and again!

Great Family Vacation!

This is the second time our family has stayed in this particular unit. There is plenty of space, it was very clean, and truly had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation (we really love the separate ice maker)! Being on the ground floor on the far corner is perfect for young kids while also providing some privacy. The pools and beach are great and we saw dolphins several times during the week very close to the shore. The most positive aspect of this unit, though, is Nancy who made sure our stay was as close to perfect as possible! We would never rent from anyone else in the Destin area!!!!

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much for the weekend rental. It was the perfect getaway for our little family. Our son enjoyed the grass area outside of the condo and LOVED the beach. My husband and I enjoyed cocktails in the patio with sounds of the ocean as the kids slept too ;) We hope to be able to stay longer soon!

Wonderful Family Vaction

Our family of 8, had a wonderful experience at the Unit If cooking is your thing, all of the necessary culinary amenities are available for the novice or the experienced chef. A gas or charcol grill is available just around the corner from the unit. The 2 king, 2 queen, one sofa bed unit, gave us plenty of stretching room and privacy. My suggestion to the owner would be to remove the sofa bed and put twins in the 4th bedroom, they could also be pushed together as a king if needed. They could be used as day beds and others could watch TV in this 4th bedroom too. Just a note to offer an easy upgrade and not forfeit the 2nd den or playroom for younger ones. Overall the unit is very nice and the lawn setting is so luxurious for dining outside under the stars and literally looking out on sky and sea from a "bluff like" setting. Very safe and fun for small children who need to run outside while you can watch from the patio. I will most definitely stay there again.

Our family stayed here last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place is very upscale with marble floors throughout the main living areas, crown molding, tumbled marble bathroom tile, Viking kitchen appliances, etc. There were nine in our group, ranging from ages 3 to 84. We never felt crowded - there was plenty of room for lounging, cooking, eating, sleeping, etc. The place was spotless when we arrived, and everything worked well. The view was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the large patio and the lawn. The walk to the beach was short - the elevation change was a bit of a surprise (25 feet?), but the elderly among us handled it fine if a bit deliberate. The owner's agent Nancy was a pleasure to work with. We hope to return soon.

The condo had a great layout, excellent view, and was very clean. The property amenities (pool, beach access, grills) were great and made the vacation complete. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

Adagio is beautiful!

We had a wonderful week at Adagio. Guests included my husband and I, our son and daughter, their spouses, and our 4 grandchildren, ages 10, almost 4, 12 months and 11 months. The unit is large enough that there was plenty of room for all of us. The Unit was spotless. We liked the first floor location. The little ones were able to be on the deck without worry, because the lawn is on the same level-- no step down to worry about. We were close to the pool overlooking the beach, but far enough removed from it that noise was not an issue. The unit is very quiet-- we did not hear any noises from the adjacent unit or the unit above. The listing description and the listing photos were very accurate. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return next year. No hesitation recommending Adagio to friends and relatives. The owner's agent, Nancy Fox, was very helpful, both as we planned the vacation, and then helping us get settled in. She was great getting the cribs and high chairs we needed, and went above and beyond the call of duty returning a forgotten item to us. Very nice being so close to Seaside, Grayton Beach, Watercolor, and the other beach towns. We had two excellent lunches at La Cocina Mexican restaurant in Rosemary Beach. Angelina's Pizza, just east of Seaside, is a nice, family style place with excellent pizza. We prepared a lot of our meals at the unit-- there is a Publix a short distance west, on 98, which made it easy to restock our supplies as needed. A great place on a beautiful beach!

It rained 5/7 days, but we still had the best vacation ever! The condo was SO nice! We didn't mind being "stuck" inside. The beach was also beautiful.. no oil, no smell. We hope to be able to return next time!

Our family celebrated Easter, 2009 and our Spring Break vacation at the Adagio. Unit 101 is wonderful! The location of the unit in the complex is great. It is very private and quiet. The views from the unit are stunning! We did not want to leave the patio area! The unit is well appointed and the decorations lovely. We enjoyed our time away.... Nancy was a gem to work with--Thank you!

My family and I rented this beautiful property last month (2nd week of May 2008), and we absolutely loved the location and the gorgeous furnishings. We were so comfortable that we just wanted to stay forever! The owners of this condo truly thought of everything. The cookware was absolutely amazing, and you truly feel like a gourmet chef when using their kitchen. The view and location was truly amazing and perfect. There was virtually no foot traffic near our patio door, and we would literally watch dolphins jumping in the water. We also have a 2-year old, and it was wonderful to not have any fear of a balcony. Having a ground level condo is the way to go! Again, hope this review is helpful. We will definitely be staying at Adagio 101 in the future.

As far as Adagio is concerned, this is very likely the nicest unit in the complex. Views are exceptional, furnishings are lavish, and the location is prime. My family will certainly hope to visit and stay here again in the near future.
