The Yellow Coco Lodge is very private, offering a great cross-section of Rain forest and spectacular ocean beachfront. Our spacious studio Jungle Bungalow, just 5 years old, is nestled in the secondary rain forest part of the property, BUT, is just a one minute, private path walk to the Golfo Dulce/Pacific Ocean and six mile stretch of incredible beach - you can hear the pounding waves from the bungalow, as well watch the families of white-faced monkeys swing high in the tree-tops overhead.
The Bungalow is very spacious, complete with fully equipped kitchenette that has a pass through bar area from kitchen to patio, as well lovely sitting area. It has a queen and two twin beds. A Continental Breakfast Basket Option can be added daily.
Also available on-site is an additional bungalow as well lovely Beachfront House.
There is on-site manager to assist with any of your needs, from arranging of tours and activities, to plans for massages and meals. Housekeeping is provided daily. There are kayaks for guest use, as well bike and boogie-board rentals.

After many trips to the Osa Peninsula, one time we just got plain lucky and happened into our dream of a lifetime... the now "Yellow Coco" land was for sale..... primitive, jungly and beachy all at the same time, & totally vacant of structures and systems, we jumped in with total enthusiasm (it was a lot more affordable back in 2002). The property sits right on the Golfo Dulce and open mouth to the Pacific Ocean. As there was absolutely nothing there but great old trees & incredible beach, we camped on it for the first 2 years, under the huge almond trees right at the beach, where our current guest hammock area now lives.
We planned our first structure, the Beach House, which was completed in 2005 (3 full baths and sleeps up to 10: from there, 2 large Jungle Bungalows were constructed, complete with kitchenettes (sleeping 3 or 4).
We totally love our property and love sharing it with guests even more. The Osa Peninsula is an intriguing, fascinating, and beguiling place to live & visit.
