We loved our suite - Breathtaking views, comfortable bed and relaxing atmosphere. Loved Cadillac Mountain, Trenton Bridge Lobster, This Way Cafe - All great! I learned how to relax and I thank you for sharing this beautiful enviornment with us.

We rented the "suite" specifically to be able to prepare some meals due to dietary concerns and to have the privacy of a home environment. The kitchenette area had no kitchen sink! Any food prep such as washing fruit or vegetables had to be done in the bathroom sink located on the other side of the bedroom area. The hot/cold water dispenser had jars filled from the owners tap water. The extra jug was opening covered with foil paper. I considered this an unhygenic situation and bought bottled water. Soiled dishes were to be placed in a plastic bin in the cabinet and were picked up and replaced when we were out. We felt that infriged our privacy. We might as well have stayed in a motel.

Owner response:A suite of rooms is not a condo. The property is accurately described on the website. Also, I confirm with propspective guests that there is not a kitchen sink, stove or oven. Appliances are listed on the website. Drinking jugs are filled with water from our pristine deep-water aquifer, probably purer than whatever the guest purchased. Had we served this woman a glass of pure well water from the faucet, she probably would have rejected it as unhygenic because it wasn't sealed with a plastic cap. Oh well... Other guests have loved the dish fairy (and the magical service she provides while you're out for the day). If this poster didn't approve of the suite being accessed to remove her dirty dishes, she could have offered to carry them down for us. Alas, we've provided an exquisite location, accomodations, and detailed information about what is offered - and have finally found someone who would have been happier in a motel. Since she knew all the particulars before booking, it's simply sad the time was wasted on someone who missed out on the beauty.

Very relaxed and laid back. Coffee on the deck to start your day and a glass of wine in the evening to watch the sun go down. Sherr and Bill and great hosts with great recommendations for dining and fun things to do.

Love Maine,do as much as you want, or as little as you want. This suite is perfect for both,close to the parks, trail heads, and restaurants. Immaculate, with a great view of the Frenchman's Bay. Friendly and willing to help with anything owners.
