This 'HOME' in Whistler is exactly that. Living in Vancouver, it acts as our second home away from the city. We truly try not to have it as the 'typical' rental home, yet try to accommodate it for all the people that visit.
We've decorated it with warm colours, new flooring, personalized new furniture, local art and all the personal touches to make it a comfortable setting. All of these come together to make it a great retreat in the mountains and reflects what Whistler is all about. With lots of natural light & spectacular views of the mountains, there is no reason to leave (except to ski of course!).
Our unit also has functionality. Provided is a full kitchen, full bath en suite, in-suite washer/dryer, ski rack, CD and DVD player with iPod connectivity, condiments, and all the items that you would normally find in your kitchen. We even will provide you with robes, an espresso pot and candles....all to make it just like home. If there is something that you need that is not listed, just ask! We will try our best to accommodate you.

Owner Description
We live in Vancouver and are both self employed. We love escaping to Whistler to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and to give our two children outdoor experiences. We love everything Whistler has to offer....yes, we love to ski but we also love the lake in the summer, the market, the great restaurants and even just renting a movie and relaxing the mind and soul. When we go back to Vancouver after a weekend of Whistler, we feel refreshed and ready to tackle the week.
Why the Owner Chose Granite Court
My husband and I have been a part of Whistler for many years and have owned at other locations and ended up at Granite Court a few years ago. We owned a one bedroom and then moved up to a two bedroom to accommodate our family and to give us that extra elbow room. Being that it is across the street to the village, walking distance to everything.....we found it perfect that we could leave the car parked. We currently live in Vancouver and love to escape to Whistler to get our dose of Westcoast living. We really love everything that it has to offer in all the seasons. Winter sports, Summer events and Spring & Fall relaxation. Being self employed and living in the city....it really is escaping to the mountains.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
The thing we enjoy the most about our property is that it feels like home. We've tried very carefully to give the extra touches so that when we go up there (as well as guests) that it doesn't feel like a hotel room. It's unique in the sense that we put out candles, photos, espresso, blanket throws, etc. to make it comfortable. We also enjoy the fact that we can walk everywhere....a real treat.
