My husband and I took our 3 dogs and it was perfect! The fenced yard kept them safe and I was able to to enjoy the sun without being towed around the yard on a leash. The location was great, dogs loved the beach and we loved the area. We got a very nice thank you note from the owner which was an unexpected, delightful surprise. We will be staying here every time we go to FL from now on.
Owner response:Thank you for sending in review. It is so nice to have wonderful people stay at our place and take care of it. Families like you, pick up after your pets and you never would have known there was even one pet there. No complaints from neighbors about barking dogs either. Thank you again and I will look forward to seeing you again.

We had a wonderful week at Vilano Beach! We fished, swam. waterskied, kayaked and just enjoyed being together as a family. We especially loved the backyard, screened-in-porch, out-door-shower and hot tub. This rental unit has all the comforts of home. We will be back!!!
Owner response:Glad all of you had a great time and used the outdoor shower. It has helped cut down on sand going in the hot tub which is almost impossible to get it all out. Hurricane Irene missed us as do most hurricanes and hope they continue to always miss Vilano. You are most welcome back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Terry's home! We found the descriptions to be accurate and the home clean and well-maintained. The house was well-appointed with ammenities and supplies, which helped to provide a worry-free vacation! The neighborhood seemed to be a good mix of homes and rental units, and all the pet owners cleaned up after their pets. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach but did get scared one evening crossing the busy road with small children. It was nice to have a parking area right across the street on days that we drove. Before we arrived I worried that the house might be a little small based upon the pictures, but we had more than enough room for 4 adults, 3 children, and our family dog! I think having the bedrooms on separate floors was a good way of giving everybody their own space. My daughter's favorite place was the child's room off the master. The sky light was a nice surprise for her. She and my grandson shared the room and played and slept quite comfortably. Lastly, Terry was great to work with! She answered all my emails promptly and provided good information about the area. We really appreciated her hospitality and look forward to our next stay in her home!
Owner response:I could not tell you had a dog! It's great to know how much all of you enjoyed my place. I really try to keep it perfect for all ages and pets. My grandchildren love the skylight except when it rains. You are welcome back any time and I look forward to it. Glad you had a great vacation.

We loved our 6 night stay at Terry's vacation home. It was clean, comfortable and convenient!! We just programed the address into the GPS and went right to the door. It was great to have a parking spot right next to the ramp to walk to the beach because we carted a 1 year old and his 5 year old sister along with all the necessities that go everywhere with them. The kids loved playing in the waves and it was shallow enough that I didn't worry about them getting attacked by sharks. (I'm a grandmother and we worry about things like that!) The restaurant guide Terry provided was very helpful. We really enjoyed Aunt Kate's. I would gladly recommend this spot. When the 5 year old got bored, I asked her how many pairs of flip flops she could count in the downstairs bathroom. That kept her busy for a while. It was great to get away from home for a few days and to share part of it with our daughter and her kids was a bonus. I can't stress again how clean the house was or how helpful Terry was. We will gladly go there again. If you go and are interested in card making or scrapbooking, make sure you visit Claire's Collectables in old St. Augustine. It's in the 4th building south of Dairy Queen, right on A1A. Claire is very sweet and you can spend hours looking at the stamps she has available for sale. Thank you, Terry for allowing us to use your wonderful beach home. It was Awesome!!!

We stayed at this property at the beginning of June - it was honestly a great place. The jacuzzi was a great ammenity, even though the ocean is across the street. Each evening we relaxed in the jacuzzi. The house has everything you need, from utensils to trash bags, to detergent. We'll definately stay at this property again.

The rental was very welcoming! My husband and I usually run around all the time when we are on vacation. This time we were able to relax a lot more the house was clean and comfortable. We were very happy with the rental. The hot tub was great but we don't have one and have never messed with one, and couldn't figure out why it wasn't getting hot. We added some water and it began heating up so if its too cool and won't warm up add water! My dogs also loved the property getting to go out and play when they want and us sit in the shade and watch them was great with everyone. Would be great for anyone!!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week with my parents (in their 80s and mom has had a stroke so VERY much appreciated this handicapped accessible place) and my 15yo son. Something for everyone. My husband and son had some surf lessons, I had my morning runs on the beach, we all got to have some afternoon beach time with kite flying and boogie boarding, my mom and dad played lots of scrabble on the screened in porch, and the hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. There is an awesome fish market, veggie stand and bakery just up Rt1 and although there were some great restaurants it was also great fun to grill most every night. Thanks you Terry for helping make this happen so gracefully.

This town house is a block from the beach, 5 minutes away from downtown St Augustine. The location was spot on. Clean and plenty of room. Had every thing you needed at your finger tips. Nice neighborhood. My Dogs even loved it. Restuarants right at you (CAP's on the water is a great place to eat, drink and be merry). shopping in downtown St Augustine and the restuarant/bars were primo. I would recommend this property most definately to my friends and family. Our dogs even got to go to breakfast and lunch with us sometimes and you can't beat that. Terry is an extremely nice lady. At my request, she even found infomation for a veterinarian just in case there was an emergency with the dogs. P.S. We drove over the Bridge on the bay to explore and found lots go places to go on the otherside of downtown. It was just great all the way around.

We had a great spring break at this condo; nice to be able to take our dog and walk to the beach. Loved the fenced in back yard and privacy. Very clean condo and all linen and dishes were included. Enjoyed the large screened-in back porch in the evenings. Owner promptly responded to our question about the hot tub. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants to stay near the beach and visit lovely St. Augusitne.
Owner response:Glad you enjoyed your visit and left the unit so spotless. Cathy appreciates getting in and out quickly when cleaning. I never had a problem with the hot tub since it is so new but I guess the breaker was old from the last one. I did get it fixed for you as soon as possible without any lengthy down time. I will have to leave instructions in case the breaker ever trips again. I do hope to see you again.

We've been going south from NY for about five years now, NC, SC, Fl. and have experienced owners who it's easy to see stretch the amenities to just get you technically "equipped". But this rental unit is the best we've encountered so far. It is so complete it's as if you're in your own home. Terry spends so much attention to detail that she speaks to vacationers of her respect for them in every room you enter. From the well appointed child's room, off the master bedroom, to the homey dining room and complete lanai, you feel you're at home. Even the hot tub on the patio was clean, hot and waiting for us to enjoy. I've had real disappointments in the past when it came to wireless or ethernet service. She assured me beforehand that I'd have no problem. And guess what? Not only was there perfect service, she even provided a PC! I'm a little late writing this review. Her home came to mind because we are going to buy a new dishwasher here at our own home. Hers leaped into my mind because I remember how quiet it was. I'm going to email her now to recall the brand. That speaks to how she operates, no "landlord special" appliances for this lady. And believe me we've seen all the thrift shop amenities that some owners think will not be noticed. How refreshing to find an owner who really does more than expected. Kudos Terry! Lee and Cheryl
Owner response:You can really write a review!!!! People will think I paid you for it. But, you and Cheryl were there for two months and I am jealous. I do love my place and try to have everything there and more. At times, things do break and disappear but then sometimes guest leave things too. I am sorry that when you wanted to extend for another month it was already booked. Enjoy your summer and thank you for everything even your video on U-tube http://www.youtube.com/user/leeretiree. I hope you do one of St. Augustine and Vilano. Hope to see you all again

Terry is the best and you truly feel like she has welcomed you into her home, not just a rental property. We would definately rent from Terry again if we come to the area again. Thanks Terry.
Owner response:I enjoyed having you too and loved the chocolate peanut brittle. You must tell me where you got it or probably since it was so warm outside, you probably stayed inside and cooked to keep warm. I wish it was warmer. It got hot the day you left. Hope you have a Happy New Year and look forward to having you back anytime.......

My wife and I had a delightful visit at this condo. The facilities were exactly as described and all amenities were provided. We found it very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the beach as a walkover with parking was about one block away. There was sufficient room for our dog to get a run in the back, and more than enough room for my 17 ft flats boat and 2 autos in the driveway. If you wanted the boat out of sight there was room in the fenced back yard. The county had a boat ramp about 2 miles away and the main boat ramp on the west side of the Vilano bridge was only 12-15 minutes.Downtown St Augustine was about 15 minutes away. A great week..
Owner response:Thank you for writing something about the boat. I have guests stay and never say anything about their boat. Too bad you did not get more fishing done but yes, there are many nice art galleries and specialty shops in Historic Downtown. Thank you also for doing the linens and putting the garbage out. I have been very blessed this year with many guests such as your family and your dog that was there. Look forward to your visit next year.

My girlfriend, a buddy of ours and our dog stayed at Terry's in September for 5 days and we had a great time. I love to surf and hurricane Igor had produced some pretty good waves. The break just across the street (easy walk OR drive) was great and there was nobody out so we had all the waves to ourselves!! I usually stay in Jax beach and it's definitely more crowded up that way. We love the Conch house for the Sunday Reggae party and only had to drive 10 mins, which was a big plus. There are quite a few restaurants in the area which is nice but we also had a great time eating in on the porch and enjoying soaks in the hot tub while Kona (our dog) was able to chill in the back yard along with us. Thanks again Terry!
Owner response:I was lucky to meet you, Mary and Kona! Extremely obedient dog...did he ride the waves too? I am glad for your sake the hurricane was close enough to give you the waves you wanted. You are not the only people who have stayed at my place when the storms come in. I look forward to having all of you back again but you do not have to wait for the "waves". Thanks for doing all the linens, towels etc. My housekeeper greatly appreciated it too! The Conch House. has great atmosphere with the Tiki huts on the water but Reggae Sunday is the best. Many people are either arriving or leaving on Sundays and miss it. Thanks again:)

The townhome was perfect for our family with teenagers and a dog. It is located in a very nice residential area, a two minute walk to the beach with very easy access. You can also drive and park right at the beach walkover which is very convenient. The fenced yard was wonderful for our great dane. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting out there at night listening to the ocean and enjoying the quiet starry nights. Unit is very clean and cute, and stocked with everything you need from beach towels to qtips :) This is a great place for families!
Owner response:I could not tell you had a Great Dane there when I arrived. I try to keep my place with a lot of the extras people forget to bring when traveling. The whole watermelon you left was very much appreciated by the people that arrived that day. It was his favorite....so thank you from all of us. Please keep me in mind when coming this way again.

Location was great. Close to restaurants and beaches, yet far enough away from Historic St. Augustine to get away from the crowd. The property was clean and well maintained and our deposit was returned promptly. It has a very nice screened porch and backyard. However, the inside space was cramped. The kitchen counters, tabletops and dressers were crowded with so much unnecessary decorations that it made them unusable. The kitchen was small but still contained almost every possible appliance. The master bedroom bed was quite comfortable. However, the full bed on the first floor is an uncomfortable futon with a summer camp type twin crowded into the same room and should only be used for children. Two of our four adults chose to sleep on the couch instead. There was an abundance of towels available, coffee and filters, and condiments in the frig. However, toilet paper and soap were scarce.
Owner response:I cannot say I am happy with your review but everyone is entitled to their opinion. You received over 35 pictures showing the complete layout of my place including bedrooms, kitchen etc. It is a townhouse under 2000 sq ft. I have decorations to make people feel like they are at a beach house and not a sterile hotel. I personally come down and check out my place after every guest and personally refill the toilet paper, liquid soap and any other necessary supplies. There are at least 2 rolls of extra toilet paper in the cabinet downstairs as well as upstairs. I cannot imagine anyone having to use over 4 rolls of toilet paper in 3 days. I supply liquid soap in shower areas and sinks including the kitchen with hand soap and dish detergent as well as dishwasher soap. I have found it to be more sanitary that bar soap. I do not supply soap for the washing machine. I am sorry my unit did not meet your expectations. I do hope the visit with your newborn grandchild went better. Thank you for leaving my place the way you found it.

My husband and I were looking for a nice, clean location for our 39th anniversary. Our problem was we needed someplace where our dog was also welcome. That eliminated hotels, so I started looking at private rentals. When I found Terry's place, I knew I had found the perfect location! We live in Florida, so we knew what to expect for weather. What we didn't expect was the comfort and cleanliness we found at Terry's! Everything was just as stated in her ad, the beach was a very short walk, it was easy to get back and forth to St. Augustine Old Town and the attractions, the peace and quiet was very much appreciated, and we plan on going back! Terry made it very easy for us to book the trip, even though we sort of waited till the last minute. She was very quick to get the paperwork to me for the lease and made everything go very smoothly. We have already told several people about her townhouse and hope they get a chance to be guests with Terry.
Owner response:You both were great and appreciate all the little extras you did. I still have not received the picture of Bears favorite place! Hopefully the next time you are up, we will meet. Thanks again for everything. Enjoy the rest of this long hot summer!

My boyfriend and I spent four days at the townhouse while in Ponte Vedra/St. Augustine for my best friend's wedding. The location was PERFECT! The wedding was less than a mile away, the beach was in walking distance, and restaurants were nearby. It was away from the craziness, but close enough to head in for the evening. We enjoyed the outlet malls, the beach, and restaurants suggested by Terry. She was wonderful to us providing a clean and welcoming home, suggestions on local activity and restaurants, and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed everything about our stay and the comforts Terry provided.
Owner response:It was nice to meet the both of you and hang out at the beach. Great young couple and took great care of our place. Hope to see the both of you again....maybe a beach wedding!!

Me, my wife, our two children (13 and 14 years-old), and Auntie Di all stayed in this very pleasant three bedroom townhouse. It is a very short walk to the Atlantic Ocean and it has a nice hot tub and fenced in backyard. Terry (the owner) was very attentive to all of our communications and it was great to have a computer and high-speed internet on-site. Terry has an internet phone connected, but we had pretty good cell service with AT&T. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended. -Randy and Gayle.

After walking around St. Augustine all day it was very nice to just relax in the hot tub. So if you are looking for a nice place to stay, well you have found it here.
Owner response:Likewise. It is always nice to have guests stay that treat my home like their own. You even left me a little turtle, frog and glow in the dark snakes. I will have to get a Georgia Bull Dog to keep outside to watch my back!. Thank you.

We recently spent a week in St. Augustine, and this unit was the perfect location. The beach was just a short one-block walk away, and even during peak hours it was never crowded like the public beaches were. We brought two medium-sized dogs with us on our trip, and highly recommend this unit for other people traveling with dogs. The yard is fenced and is larger than any other yard we saw in the area - perfect for off-leash play time. Also, the beach is dog friendly, so all-in-all this is a perfect location to bring your dogs. One of our favorite features of the unit was the information binder on the coffee table. The evening we arrived, we were too tired to cook so wanted to find a local restaurant. We were very pleased to discover that the binder contained menus for many area restaurants so we could easily select where we wanted to eat. The binder also contains a map of the St. Augustine area and a "user's guide" for everything in the unit (like the tv and hot tub). We had a great time in this unit, and definitely recommend it.
Owner response:Thanks so much for talking about the dogs, beach etc. I never would have known you had dogs since everything was picked up and balls still in the yard. Unit was in great shape too!

To show how much so, the dryer went out the second day and she had a replacement there the next day!! Thank you! Too much laundry for a laundromat! :) Terri is wonderful.
Owner response:I was looking for an excuse to get a new dryer with multiple settings so when you called Tues Am, I called and had a local store deliver one that afternoon. I knew you needed one especially with your daughter stationed at NAS Jax. Thank you also for doing the linens and treating my place like your home.

My family visited this beach home this summer and had the best time. We really just felt at home. The outdoor spa was incredible, we couldn't get my sister out of it! I was even able to take my dog who is a big part of the family and very welcome on the beach there. We all loved the location of the private beach entrance and privacte is the best way to describe it. During the busy part of the day we maybe saw 10 people other than ourselves in the area! It was a fantastic place to stay and closer to downtown St. Augustine than St.Augustine beach. We were all ready to go back the next weekend and I cannot wait until I have time to go back again!!!! =)
Owner response:Thank you for commenting and also for the great care you took of my place.

Hi, my name is Amy and I just loved my get-a-way to this quiet and secluded oceanside condo on New Years Eye. The view of the St. Augustine fireworks was fantastic! Looking forward to staying there again soon, Amy Harden

What a great March 1st honeymoon hideaway. Place was totally equipped from blender, beach towels & BBQ. All we needed was our own food. Beach was so private and beautiful. Only had one rainy day but too relaxed to care. Will recommend to all our friends.
Owner response:Thank you and I hope you come back each year with or without additions :)

Wow ! What a wonderful quiet place this is. Great for catching up on my reading. Loved the soothing sound of the ocean and occasional birds flying by. Great value. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK !!
Owner response:Thank you for your response. It is a big difference than NY-I lived there for 30+years. See you soon!
