Cape Charles is the best kept secret on the Eastern Shore because it offers amazing sunsets, canoing, kayaking, biking, paddle boat and scooter rentals. We are close to barrier islands and you may get a peak at the famous Chincoteague ponies if you are lucky! There are museums, many antique shops and plenty of fun things to do. If you are in to history, Cape Charles has an amazing history beginning with the meteor which created the Chesapeake to now as the town is enjoying its revival! Awesome. While there is plenty to do maybe you just want to relax on our sunny sandy beaches or go to the fishing pier for crabbing and fishing.
