Lakefront Home with 90 Feet of Beach on Lake Clay!

Enjoy our lakefront home on beautiful Lake Clay - a large, sandy bottom ridge-type lake with clear, clean water. Our 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is perfect for a winter retreat or summer vacation. It is completely furnished with a fireplace, family/game room, open air kitchen/livingroom, private dock, and a large screened-in patio from which to enjoy some of the most majestic sunsets you will ever see.
Enjoy a beautiful view of the lake through glass doors in the livingroom and game room, and from windows in the kitchen, while relaxing in air-conditioned/heated comfort. For outside enjoyment there is a screened-in patio running the width of the house, and a large grass-covered back yard (with two large shade trees) that leads to a wide beach and private dock. Water depth is not a problem here - it is 6 feet deep at the end of the dock, but there is plenty of 'wading' depth for relaxing in the water.
The small town of Lake Placid is centrally located for easy access to both the east and west coasts of Florida, close enough to make a day-trip to many of the most famous attractions our great state has to offer.

My husband, 2 children (under 5), and in-laws chose this house because of the amenities and pictures on the website, but it still far exceeded our expectations. The pictures of the house really do not do it justice, it is soooo nice and everything you could want is there (except food of course). The Lake itself was a pleasant surprise as well. We were expecting it to be smaller, but it is a lovely size and remarkably clean. My kids barely got out of the water for the whole 4 days we were there. We even caught bass as we casually fished off the dock or rowed out on one of the kayaks. On top of all that the sunsets are just beautiful, again we'd seen pictures and it didn't do it justice. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to make it a yearly vacation. Thank you to Linda and Rob for opening their home!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We have stayed on Lake Clay for 7 years, and this is by far the best home we have rented. From the moment you walk in... it's clean, well equipped, and in the perfect location on Lake Clay. The sunsets were beautiful. Our kids loved fishing off the dock, and swimming in the clear water. Our 7 year old yellow labrador was in heaven! A lovely beach with wonderful oak trees for shade... it was just perfect. Thanks Rob & Linda ... we will definately be returning!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We have always thought you needed to go to the beach. This is much better, Beautiful clear fresh water is so much better. What a great house, lots of room, everything you could need or want and so comfortable . Big shady oaks to sit under and watch the lake. We will come back again and again John and CindyRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
