THE CLIFF VIEW CABIN
The Cliff View Cabin sits on what historians call Holy Hill. Back in the early 1900's all the cabins on the hill were owned by ministers mainly Presbyterian. Even today a lot of the cabins are still owned by the same families, which includes the Hage family, owners of the Cliff View Cabin.
The cabin sits across from the YMCA of the Rockies. It is about two miles from the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, a half mile from the East Portal Trail Head which takes you into the National Park. And its around two miles to downtown Estes Park.
If you enjoy the wildlife, the Cliff View Cabin has a big wrap around porch where you can sit, after a day of hiking, to view the elk and deer and the beautiful mountain views.
This cabin is to be enjoyed year round.

We truly enjoyed this cabin. We had six people staying in the cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. The great room is much bigger than the pictures protray. The master bedroom is spacious and beautiful. The other bedrooms with queen beds were very comfortable. The last bedroom had a bunk bed with a twin bed on the bottom, my bed, very comfortable. There is a hide a bed and futon in the living room area. Two double sink bathrooms with tubs and showers. The cottage was exceptionally appointed and beautiful. It had everything we needed and more from needle and thread to a good array of cooking utensils and pots and pans. For you TV lovers, only a few channels and no movies but a selection of music DVD's. There is a good library with lots of info on Estes. We loved it, great views, very comfortable and roomy. Easy to get to, even in the winter.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Hi Diana, Just wanted to pass along thanks for the beautiful accommodations. Cliff View is lovely--and so clean! My kids and I agreed that having wi-fi, a dishwasher, and satellite tv in that rustic setting was our perfect idea of "camping." :o) We throughtly enjoyed our vary rare family time together there.
