Why the Owner Chose Tradewinds
We chose this property first and foremost due to the unbeatable location and family friendliness of Orange Beach. We wanted a modern, well constructed, high-rise unit with great views and Tradewinds fit the bill perfectly. Once we toured the well landscaped grounds and saw the wonderful indoor/outdoor pool - we were hooked! Since we purchased the condo, the area has only gotten better with the addition of the Palm Pointe shopping center a stone's throw down the street.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The absolute best thing about the condo is the location right on the beach. You can be down to the beach and in a chair within just a few minutes of leaving the condo. When it's time to come up and make a sandwich, you can keep an eye on your things and your family right from the balcony! The low-density of the complex ensures you never are waiting on an elevator or fighting crowds on the beach.
For those lucky guests who stay over during the New Year's Holiday, standing on the condo balcony and watching the fireworks at the Wharf (directly north of the condo) with a glass of champagne just cannot be beat!

The condo was nicer than pictured. Furnishings were great, comfortable. Overall decor was excellent. Very clean and easy to treat as our own. Chris was good to work with despite very last minute reservation. We will definitely return when coming to this area, Thanks, Chris! Thanks for advertising on VRBO, too. This is a great value for hard-earned money.

We had such a wonderful time. The view was so beautiful I think I could have sat on the balcony all day long. It was so very relaxing. The condo was not only perfect for us, but also for my 2 year old. It was well stocked with everything he needed to make his vacation perfect. Plastic plates, bowls, cups and sippy cups, ice cream scoop, kiddie videos, beach toys.... All the things that are important for a perfect vacation in his little world! Chris was wonderful to work with! He answered all emails and telephone calls withing just a few hours! We definitely will (and have) recommend him to any of our friends.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

We loved this condo. It is nicely decorated and the views are amazing. My husband and I took our first vacation in seven years w/o the kids and this was absolutely perfect. Chris was always quick to respond to my e-mails regarding everything from reservations to information about Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Orange Beach, book this condo. You will not be disappointed!

The Mayfield's condo was just fantastic! First of all Chris was a pleasure to work with in making the reservation - very prompt and friendly. Once we got to the condo we just loved it. It was incredibly well decorated, and had everything we needed - including a much better view than we had expected. The 2 bathrooms helped out alot when it came time to shower up for dinner. Overall GREAT vacation - we'll be back!

We enjoyed working with the Mayfield's on renting this condo. They were very quick in all correspondence. We had a few questions when we got there, and they were very quick to respond. The condo was decorated very nicely, and was very comfortable. There are games, books, dvds, a game console, and they put together a binder with a ton of local restaurant's menus and info about other activities with some comments about them that we found very helpful. The pool was large with plenty of chairs. The pool is very close to the beach and the beach is beautiful. This condo is located close to grocery stores and other shopping and right across the street from a putt-putt, etc place. It is also located on the Gulf Shores side of Orange Beach so it is a very quick drive (3-4 min?) to get to Gulf Shores. The elevator is fast, so it doesn't take long to get to the pool or beach. We enjoyed the condo! Thanks!
