Just want to thank you for use of Casa Tulipan this week. We had a wonderful 4 days relaxing after all our jungle adventures in San Ignacio. The house is perfect, comfortable, well equipped, clean. I loved all the wood and the furniture is beautiful. We got to relax, go to the beach, did some snorkeling, watched the local kids feed the crocs down the road, and all in all, had a great time. Loved the house, A++, would buy again! For about the same price as my friend's hotel room, Casa Tulipan offered ample comfortable seating; a fully-equipped kitchen and full-sized refrigerator/freezer; microwave; washer and dryer; television and loan of cell phone (a $10 calling card was more than enough to make several local calls each day for a week). DESCRIPTION:
Casa Tulipan is located on Ambergris Caye just 2.5 miles south of San Pedro Town. This one bedroom, fully furnished, air conditioned home is set on its own fenced lot and surrounded by private homes with a lush vacant lot behind and quiet neighbors on either side. Casa Tulipan sits just two rows off of the beach with public beach access about 250 meters down the road. From the house you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, walk to a casual restaurant and resort just down the road, or explore the island by golf cart.
The home is fully furnished with a queen size bed, linens, towels, dishes, and appliances (washer, dryer, microwave, refrigerator, stove, etc.). Cable television and mobile phone are provided. You can purchase phone cards in town for use with the phone. If you don’t wish to cook your own meals, we can arrange for a catering service to shop and cook Belize or American cuisine for you. Parking for golf carts is available inside the 1.25 meter fence with a locking gate. Additional restaurants, grocery stores and internet access are within 1 to 1.5 miles.
Ambergris Caye is a fisherman's paradise where you can experience fishing like it was meant to be and achieve the ultimate dream of a Grand Slam of tarpon, bonefish and permit. The quality of fishing is unparalleled and is one of the great destinations of the world.
Belize has many other activities to explore including diving, snorkeling, fishing, Mayan sites, Belize Zoo, cave tubing, beach BBQ, trips to Caye Caulker, parasailing, wind surfing, kayaking and much more. The jungles of Belize are rich with wildlife from howler monkeys and exotic birds to jaguars and crocodiles.
Let us arrange a tour of the historical Mayan Ruins, go cave tubing or have a beach BBQ and do some snorkeling among the marine animals.
