We stayed for a weekend to go to some of the Paso area wineries. Great location up in the hills so you can see local wineries and landscapes from the balcony. Interior is warm and cozy but with modern amenities. Plenty of space for several couples. It's clean and well maintained inside and out. Overall, it made our trip to Paso feel like home and turned what would have been a good weekend into a great one. We'll certainly come back next time we're in Paso.

My wife and I loved it here. It's the perfect place to stay while wine tasting in Paso. While at the house, you feel as though you are hundreds of miles away from civilization. It's spacious and relaxing. We particularly enjoyed stargazing while enjoying a glass of wine. But the best part is that, despite feeling as though you are far away from it all, you are only a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Paso, its shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here the next time you visit Paso.

Our family had a great time at the ranch. The ranch was clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped to handle the 10 of us. We enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful hill top views. Everything in the brochure was accurate. There was plenty of space so teenagers and adults could spread out; inside and out. A spacious family room and living room with a good size kitchen. The rooms where bright and airy with very comfortable beds. It is a wonderful place to get away and enjoy family and friends. We spend the day on the lake, swimming and fishing - we all had a blast! We stayed in and cooked one night as there is a great grocery store nearby with fabulous meats, cheeses and a huge assortment of local wines. We went wine tasting and found a great cheese store in town (Di Raimondo's). Sitting outside, sipping local wine and watching the stars come was just the perfect ending to a perfect day on a perfect long weekend get-a-way. I highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys la dolce vita with family and friends.

Wow! This is a VERY special place - worth every dollar. There is just something about its country location with the spectacular wine country views (not to mention proximity to numerous wineries) and its log cabin/homey feel that makes Rancho Deeluxe a true retreat. The photos do not do this place justice! It is impeccably well-maintained and the owner goes above and beyond to be helpful and answer questions. I love sitting on the porches (both in the morning with a book or magazine and in the evening with a glass of wine) and I also love going for walks on the nearby gravel roads, taking in the beauty of the vineyards and rolling hillsides. With 5 bedrooms, you can bring a group of friends or family to enjoy this beautiful cabin. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax, unwind, recharge the batteries, and enjoy all that the Paso Robles area has to offer! I look forward to MANY future visits to Rancho Deeluxe!

This Ranch is a perfect getaway for wine tasting, water sports on the lake, visiting nearby attractions such as Hearst Castle and Pismo Beach, or simply hanging out at the Ranch enjoying the views and tranquility. While this home accomodates many guests, there is plenty of space to spread out within. The decor is charming, warm and inviting. I have stayed here on at least 3 occasions, spring and summer. I highly recommend this listing.

What an awesome place to get away from the city noise...great walks out the front door thru rolling hills....we met lots of local wine makers who were so welcoming and willing to answer any and all questions, while sharing their love of making wine...and staying at the "cabin" that has a feeling like home, without all the responsiblilities and distractions....a wonderful front porch to take a cup of coffee and a good book to read and enjoy the brisk morning air and a wonderful place to enjoy at the end of the day under the on moonlit sky and view the stars that you can only see in the country. With 5 bedrooms, there is room to spread out and have quiet time if needed, cozy kitchen area for family and friends to hang around and prepare meals in. It has a big front yard for our dogs to run around in and the kids to ride quads in. Over the years, our family has spent time their during all four seasons. With the lake nearby for summer recreation, it has something for everyone, all year long. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.... A++++++

Just got back from a great week in Paso Robles with my extended family over Christmas. We loved this house and the property it's on - great adventures! SO close to wine tasting - we had so much fun! Would highly recommend for families and anyone looking for a property with a lot of outdoor space for exploring while close to the wineries for adult fun!

We stayed at Rancho Deeluxe for the week of Christmas, visiting from the San Francisco Bay Area, and had a fantastic time! We had kids with us (ages 7,5,4 & 3) and it's a perfect property for kids who love being outdoors. There is a great dirt path that goes around the house for bikes and then there is a fantastic trail that goes down into a little valley on the property that is just perfect for getting the kids some exercise and letting them go for "adventures"! For Christmas, the oldest two kids got little motorcycles and they had a blast riding them around the dirt paths. The house is nice enough and very well equipped for large families. There are tons of kitchen supplies (large pots/pans, etc.) and lots of extra sheets and blankets for all the rooms. We thought the wood burning heater just in the living room would be a challenge, but the whole house, including upstairs, stayed very warm even throughout the night.....and even with the windows in several areas letting some outside air in. The one thing we would caution others about is that you can hear everything through the walls of the house upstairs and downstairs so it's best if everyone turns in at night around the same time. Our kids all slept just fine though even with the extra noise of the still-awake adults at night. We also loved that the house has a main living room area where the TV is and where most people end up hanging out.....and a much quieter den in the far opposite end of the house for others who may want to read without a lot of interruption. The furniture is nice enough and well kept up, but not too fancy that you have to worry about breaking anything. Some of the beds were quite comfortable (the king and all the twins were great) and some were not very comfortable (the two double beds seemed fairly old and would be fine for 1 person but are a little challenging for 2 because they seem to sway a bit). We never saw any of the neighbors when we were there and they are not close at all to the house so it's very private. Overall, we loved it and we will definitely be back for another stay!
