We are making our Marina home available for short- or mid-term rental on a highly selective basis. Everybody, of course, wants to know what "highly selective" means.
It means... compulsively neat, non-smokers who will take good care of our home, be considerate of the neighbors and enjoy San Francisco as much as we do. This is our home when we are in San Francisco, so it has everything you would expect of a real home, not a stripped down rental with a few cups and plates. We travel often and have rented properties all over the world and feel sure you will enjoy your stay here.
The location is perfect. A two minute stroll will take you to Chestnut Street which is famous for its restaurants, bars and shopping. The Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina Green, or the Presidio are virtually at your doorstep. A longer walk along the bay and you are at the Golden Gate Bridge or Fisherman's Wharf. The Stockton 30 bus takes you almost anywhere you want to go in the city.
This original Marina first floor flat is 1400 square feet. Living room, formal dining room, large kitchen with a breakfast area, two bedrooms, two baths, sun room office and a deck. There is access to the ground floor shared garden.
The layout is also perfect. The exposure is east to west, so you get morning sun in the bedrooms, sun room and the deck then afternoon sun and evening sunsets into the living room. The property faces right down Bay Street and so has no buildings directly across the street blocking your view of the sunset clouds.
Our flat has two bedrooms each with a queen size bed (150 cm) bed. The ensuite bedroom has a "Sleep Number" mattress and features a Jacuzzi tub.
The sun room is a fully equipped office with computer and printer/fax/copier. If you bring your own computer, we have wireless access.
The kitchen has quality appliances and is fully equipped.
The two bathrooms were recently renovated to a high standard. One has a jacuzzi tub and shower, the other a shower.
The living room fireplace has gas logs, perfect for that foggy evening.
The deck off the sun room is a sunny place for morning coffee and has a gas barbecue. The rear garden is shared with the other flats.
Parking is available in a private garage across the street. The cost is $100 per week. However, like most cities, parking is difficult and expensive, you don't really need a car in San Francisco. You can buy a 7 day Muni/passport for only $24, which includes unlimited rides on the Cable Cars.
Our rate is all inclusive, including weekly maid service, no hidden or additional fees. |
