Why the Owner Chose Ajax Peak
Ixora sits high above Ajax Mountain in Coral Bay (north hillside) with magnificent view of Coral Bay, the east end of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
Its location ensures constant cooling breezes and gentle morning wakeups gazing at a blazing ball of fire rising out of a cobalt blue sea.
The Unique Benefits at this House
To the east lie magnificent views of Coral Bay, Hurricane Hole, and Norman, Peter, Salt and other islands in the B.V.I’s, while the lush forests of Bordeaux Mountain dominate the views to the south and southwest. Like its neighbor, Bayview, Ixora borders the V.I. National Park and is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping including verdant hibiscus, oleander, bougainvillea, ixora, coconut palm, banana, lime, and papaya trees. If you can force yourself to leave this stunning setting, the tranquil, turquoise waters and white sands of Maho and Leinster beaches (part of the National Park) are an easy 4-7 minute drive. Cruz Bay is a 15-minute drive and 6 restaurants in the Coral Bay area are a 5-10 minute drive.
