Located in Les Angles, just 2 minutes from the center of historic Avignon, our home, tucked at the end of a private cul-de-sac, offers a peaceful, private respite amid the pine trees and the songs of the cicadas. The neighborhood is extremely quiet yet within walking distance to Les Angles' markets, cafes, patisserie/boulangerie, newsstands, etc.
The house is a traditional Provencal villa that was built in 1990 with all modern conveniences and volumes. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 2 with double beds. In addition, the sofa converts into a double bed. There are two full bathrooms, one with a standing shower and one with a bathtub. The open living room/dining room with fireplace has doors to the pool and terrace, making it ideal for entertaining outdoors during warm, summer evenings. Beautifully appointed, this lovely home away from home will make your time in Provence comfortable and memorable.
Les Angles is ideally located for exploring all that Provence has to offer: the sights of Avignon, including its well known theater festival--Festival d'Avignon, the beaches of the Mediterranean (1 hr), the antique markets of L'Isle sur Sorgues (30 mn), hiking, biking and skiing at Mont Ventoux (45 mn), the Camargue (1 hr) and Luberon (45 mn) areas, the food and wines of this region (Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Cotes du Rhone, etc), and the many charming historic nearby villages (Roussillon, Gordes, Bonnieux).
