Charming Historic Seaside Inn - Homer, Alaska Vacation Lodging Homer's best kept secret. The Driftwood Inn offers 21 super-clean rooms to accommodate the needs of every visitor, family, or group. Six types of rooms, one suite, and comfortable common areas can accommodate all types of guests. Located on Bishop's Beach in a secluded area of downtown Homer, we offer a relaxed, home-like atmosphere with a spectacular view overlooking beautiful Kachemak Bay with its mountains, glaciers, and coves. European Style Rooms offer sunny, spotlessly clean rooms with cozy double beds, some with single bed above. Color TV in all rooms. Private and shared baths. Special touches in all rooms add to the charm of this historic building. Ships Quarters Rooms are finished in natural cedar with a double and single bed. The single folds down from the wall (Pullman style) when needed. This style room is located on the ground floor with outside entrances. Our standard rooms have 2 double beds and a twin bunk with private bathrooms. Some with views and perfect for families.
