Our spacious home features giant 42” flat screen cable TV, brand-new Jacuzzi® 6-person hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, high speed cable and wireless internet, pellet stove, gorgeous stone gas fireplace, modern, fully-equipped kitchen, VCR & DVD players, stereo with iPod dock, screened-in porch, multiple decks including a huge backyard deck, and large backyard with outdoor games to play.
Bring your family, friends—or both—and experience a week at our Pocono Mountain retreat! Accommodating large groups in our home is not a problem. The first floor has a master bedroom (queen-size bed) with adjoining bath. For families with young children, we have a crib in the master bedroom closet for your use. The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa. The family room has a full-size futon couch. The second floor has a bedroom with a queen-size bed and private balcony with lake view, and a third bedroom with both a queen-size bed and a twin bed with pullout trundle. The loft features a queen-sized sleeper sofa.
This house has it all. Since everyone likes to do different things, we tried to incorporate it all into this vacation house. Not only do we have large-screen TV, pool table, ping pong table, and numerous popular games, but we have a brand-new high-end hot tub with lounger, areas throughout the house to relax and read a good book, wireless internet throughout the house, we even have a computer and laser printer so you can surf the web and print out your ski passes or directions to your white-water rafting day excursion. We’ve thought of it all! For the cook we have enough equipment to whip up a gourmet meal. And, unlike most rentals in the Poconos, we provide luxurious sheets and towels for every guest. We even provide salon-quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash, along with cleaning supplies and starter paper products. We wanted you to have one less thing to lug along, leaving more room and time for you to enjoy your vacation! We’re confident you will love this home as much as we do and come back year after year.
Home is located in the popular amenity-filled community of Towamensing Trails, nestled around a serene 200-acre lake. Five minutes to Jack Frost or Big Boulder and 20 minutes to Camelback Ski Resorts for skiing and tubing. Split Rock Lodge and Lake Harmony are only 5 minutes away and feature a powerboat lake, canoe and kayak rentals, movie theater, bowling, miniature golf, golf course, gift shops, and delicious restaurants. There are so many fun activities within a short drive including hiking and biking trails, paintball, Pocono NASCAR raceway, The Crossing outlet stores, Hickory Run State Park, whitewater rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, golf, Mount Airy Casino, antiquing in historic Jim Thorpe, just to name a few. Nestled in the woods, you would never guess how close you are to Philadelphia, New York, and the bustling heart of the Poconos! Our home is located close enough to easily access I-80 or the Pennsylvania Turnpike while offering true mountain seclusion.
This spectacular retreat is private in a woodsy setting, but seconds to all the amenities Towamensing Trails has to offer. Step outside, and about a half block to the left is the clubhouse with restaurant and game room, pool, beach, playground, fishing, and boat rentals. To the right of the house is the Towamensing Trails boat marina, tennis courts, and basketball courts.
