Great experience from the first contact with the owner Cary to our departure a month later. I personally believe, outside of the location and the accommodations meeting our needs, Cary's helpfulness, sold us on this property. I have been in the travel industry for more than 20 years. I would consider myself an experienced traveler, looking for better than average accommodations as well as a good "deal". This lovely condo at the Cliffs more than met our expectations. This unit is conveniently located on the grounds, close to the pool, tennis courts, concierge's desk (loved Sabrina and Sarah!) We set up all of our fun activities through them. We golfed on Prince, copter tour with Sunshine, zipline tour on the south shore because of our little guys (6 & 8) with the Outfitters, loved Matt and Riley! Day cruise with Blue Dolphin, hi five out to captian Roy and Greg! Snorkeled at Tunnels, snuck into the St. Regis for the day (Wow) found the blue room, tubing through the sugar cane caves (fun but not our best highlight) learned to stand up paddle with Diane Cline and almost 30days of kundalini yoga at the Cliffs (she is not to be missed, life changing) I could go on, we spent a month here and didn't miss out on much. We did enjoy our down time at the condo too. Our two boys loved the upstairs loft. Very spacious, high ceilings with slanted windows to allow the breeze in. Two fans were provided just in case and the boys loved them. The kitchen is FULLY equiped, view into the garden and our back lanai, which we had many meals at. Huge masterbed room with another lanai. Comfy living room funiture, we all claimed our own spots to watch videos from the local Foodland Market. Plenty of tv channels too. There were plenty of towels, beach towels and toys. Tennis balls, etc. Fun little putt putt in front of our condo. The condo is tiled for the flooring, which I appreciated. It was easy to sweep up the sand we brought in every day. The pictures on this listing are true to form. Very well maintained property by owner and the Cliffs. Oh, I almost forgot, what a cool pool! Three different areas and two hot tubs. Not too big where you couldn't keep an eye on the kids. We have stayed on the south side and have decided Princeville is our future home for all visits and of couse at the Cliffs when Cary has availability! Mahalo! p.s. our depost was returned less than a week after we returned home.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife & I hae taken 3 trips to Kauai in the last 5 years, & we've stayed at The Cliffs in Princeville each time. We love the seclusion of being nestled up against the ocean, while also having the immediate amenities of a resort (a pool, spa, & tennis courts). This last time, we rented your condo, instead of grabbing an unbooked timeshare unit, & we were very pleasantly surprised. The condo was very tastefully decorated. It had an old-world tropical feel with its darkly stained dressers, tables, armoires, & beds. The decorations were Island-inspired without being Island kitsch. Finally, the couches & armchair were soft, comfortable, & perfectly relaxing--I easily dozed off in them more than once--compared to the last timeshare condo we stayed in, which had vinyl-cord couches that felt like we were sitting in the backseat of an old Chevy Malibu! Not to mention that the condo was exceptionally clean, had a toaster oven in addition to a microwave & full oven of course, an Internet connection, & a DVD player for the TV. Being on the third top floor, we felt we had more privacy, & also more room with the 2nd loft bedroom. After our 2 previous stays in other condos at the Cliffs, I would far & away, & more highly recommend your unit, than any of the others--by far the nicest we've seen at the Cliffs. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway on our 5th Anniversary. We had a great time in your condo & on Kauai!

Aloha! We had a fabulous relaxing vacation in Kauai. You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful place in paradise. Your condo was great, & the tradewinds blew right through, so we never missed air conditioning at all! Our daughter's wedding was beautiful, complete with a double rainbow. Everything about our stay was great.

We had a very nice stay at your condo unit. We often rent homes when we travel, & I don't think there is much to add to make the unit more inviting. It was especially nice to find so many supplies in the kitchen, bath, & cleaning. Many homeowners do not provide these. The suggestions for local restaurants & activities were also most helpful. Thanks again, & please ask us if you ever need any positive feedback!
