This house is wonderfully located for families or for those who want to have a relaxing summer vacation. Located on a quiet side street in Sodus Point, New York (between Rochester and Syracuse and 30 miles from the Finger Lakes) it is approximately 100 yards from Lake Ontario.
The 4-bedroom house is a two-minute walk from the Sodus Bay Public Beach and the quaint downtown of Sodus Point, which has restaurants/bars, a new playground, and a skateboard park. For those seeking more adventure, there are plenty of boating and fishing opportunities, including a public boat launch, small boat rentals, slips available for renting (we can help set up ahead of arrival), and access to a water taxi for Sodus Bay tours.
Also in the immediate area, is an outlet shopping center (a 30 minute drive), the Finger Lakes wine trails, the Finger Lakes horse racing track and casino, several local antique shops, Sunday concerts at the Sodus Bay Historic Lighthouse, museums, hiking, and much, much more. So whether you want to park and walk around all week, or explore the area, it is all within an hour's drive!
