The minute we arrived at the property, we loved it. It felt really nice from the moment we got inside the house and it was great the whole time. No one wanted to leave the house; that shows how good we felt there. It was like magic. Everyone was happy. We enjoyed every minute we spent in the house; from the 4 hammocks, the magnificent view, the freshness and cleanness of the house, the air, etc. Everything was nice and comfortable. My brothers and I wanted to have a small cerebration for our parents wedding anniversary and this house was a great choice. We were a group of 7 adults and a 6 years old child. In total 3 couples, myself, and my little nephew. Our parents were thrilled and I am convinced that we could have not given our parents a better gift. I appreciated a lot that the owner of the house, recommended a baker to make a cake for my parents because the cake was not only beautiful, but it was also delicious. For any group looking for a beautiful beach house, do not look any further – this is a great choice.

Absolute waterfront

A very large, absolute waterfront property. Clean and comfortable. Lovely, gracious and helpful owners. The huge balcony is north-east facing, so there is some sun protection in the morning and complete shade in the afternoon. Great for lazing on the hammocks and enjoying the spectacular ocean views. There is an individual powerful aircon in each bedroom, letting everybody set it to his or her individual preferences. The furniture shows its age, but overall functional and comfortable. There is a lower level ante room with a hot shower, right at the water’s edge. This fact is not reflected in the official listing. That room is perfect for rinsing of the sun and salt, and for letting swimsuits and wetsuits dry off. The location is somewhat isolated, so a car is essential. There are no phones or internet connection in the unit, and cellular reception is unpredictable. This may be good or bad, depending on how connected you need to stay during your vacation. If you are a die hard communication junky, make sure you bring your 3G capable device. Surfing: The surf right in front of the unit is a dumpy, inconsistent shorebreak, which is marginal for surfing at low tide and practically impossible at high tide. However, there is a small outer reef about 200 meters east, which is acceptable before the afternoon onshore trades start picking up. It is a reasonable break for a quick pre-breakfast surf sessions. There are much better breaks about 10 minutes drive to the east in Aguadilla, or about 15 minutes drive to the south, at Rincon. Those breaks are perfect for longer sessions.

Beautiful, cozy, a great place to stay

The house was as described. Very charming, clean, spacious and well kept. The neighborhood dogs are the friendliest! The neighborhood horse was just as friendly. My family and I had a great time, the beach is right at your back door. Great for swimming, walking on the beach or just watching the sunset. The roar of the waves and the numerous hammocks were splendid and made for the greatest early evening naps. A dominoes table for the players and a BBQ for those hot dogs, hamburgers or anything else. Crashboat Beach was about 15 minutes away (great surfing instructor), lots of roadside vendors and local bakeries. Lillian was wonderful to work with. At first I was skeptical about renting a property online with sight unseen. However, Lillian was very gracious in allowing a family member that I have in PR to see the house to ease my worries. It was a pleasure staying there. I would definitely recommend this rental property.

Great house, accomodates 7 easily. Clean, well kept, friendly locals (especially the dogs!), walking distance to tienda, farmacia and panaderia, close to bigger stores in Aguadilla, Aguada or Rincon. We even caught a baseball game at the neighborhood field. Try the restaurant just east of the house on the beach - Awesome Mofongo with great presentation and prices. .

What a Great Place!

This is a well equipped home with an incredible view of the ocean. The patio is actually larger than the pictures show with a nice, brick barbeque pit and shaded area with 2 hammocks. We loved the Rincon/Aguada area and plan to return again and again.

I had a wonderful time at the Vista Azul Beach House along with 9 of my friends. Lillian was a pleasure to work with & the property is beautiful -- right on the beach with a delightful, open porch w/2 hammocks, a great grill, and beautiful oceans sounds. It's near a cute town and two grocery stores. We highly recommend the Vista Azul Beach House!

We just got to the Big Apple after spending 2 weeks on Vista Azul Beach House. The place is on a great location and on a beautiful beach. The property seats on a shallow beach and has a great view of the Aguadilla area. We have 3 kids and they had a blast running on the sand and going in and out of the water. There were a couple of dates that it was raining but the property is real close to three malls, bowling alley, movie theaters and lots more of attractions. Lillian was great about the checking in and out process. You can tell they have been doing this for a while and have a great system in place. I'll highly recommend this property for future rentals!!

This beach house is a hidden paradise. It is seated right on the beach with a beautiful view of a small bay of the Island. We went down there to see the Island but once we got to the house, we didn’t want to leave the property. The best part of the house is the huge terrace on the back equipped with a big barbeque pit and a huge gazebo. Rincon night life and other dining places are 15 minutes away from the property, which is a +++. The owners were real responsible with us and they were on time for the check in/out process. The house was clean and the rooms were comfortable. We spent most of our time on the terrace and on the beautiful beach which is right outside of the property. We are going back to this place every year. I do highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who is looking for a great time either partying or just chilling out.

This is the best beach house I have stayed at. It is right on the water with a spectacular private beach. There is a public beach just a 15 to 30 minute walk away where in the summer there are festivals. There is a surfing town just a 15 minute drive away with tourist sights. You can sit on a hammock on the huge terrace and just watch the water and enjoy the breeze!! I would recommend this location to everyone.
