Our family beach house has lots of old world charm, high ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors through out, and a open floor plan. We are only two blocks away from the beach and boardwalk and half a block away from Ventnor's charming downtown with restaurants, shopping, and cafes. The house is located on Newport Ave.
The house has four bedrooms all with ceiling fans and air conditioners - two with queen beds, one with a double, and one with twin beds and two full bathrooms, one at each end of the hallway. The main living area has a large sunroom stocked with games and books, covered deck with patio furniture, living room with a pull out sofa, dining room that seats 10, powder room, breakfast room, fully equipped kitchen, and a mud room/laundry room with washer and dryer. The backyard features an outside shower, bocce court and a large deck with table and chairs as well as a grill. There is a driveway with parking for 2+ cars.
Four beach chairs,two beach umbrellas,and beach tags are also included.
Our beach house is very child friendly with a pack 'n play, booster seat, two safety gates, and beach toys provided.
The new community center, beach restrooms/showers, and playground are on our street as well.
Atlantic City is only short cab ride away with plenty of entertainment, nightclubs, casinos, fine dining, and great shopping to appeal to everyone.

This is the second year my wife and I rented this house. Both times we had a wonderful stay in Ventnor, and we would recommend this house for a week or a month. There is a lot of room to be alone or be with all of the family. Our favorite room is the front porch. Shawn is great to work with and tries her best to make one's stay pleasant.
Recommended for:Pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a perfect house for families with small children! 2 cabinets full of toys, puzzles, and books; ample space; 2 blocks from beach; bocce court; sand toys; comfy porch; laundry; outdoor shower ....you name it...Shawn and her family have thought of it. We had a wonderful stay at their lovely immaculate family beach home and hope to have more opportunities to enjoy their home in the future as well.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

We have been to this house several times over the years. We were there with another family and there was plenty of space for the kids to play while the adults just hung out and sipped on beverages out either on the porch or in the back yard on the nice big deck. Walking to the beach is super easy, 2 short blocks and yes there is a cool kid park on the way to the beach. A variety of yummy restaurants are around the corner. It really is a great spacious, pretty, comfortable house with everything you need for a good time within a block or two of it!

We were pleasantly surprised at how perfect this home was for our family vacation. In addition to this pet friendly residence being meticulously maintained, the layout of the living areas provided ample space for our large family to enjoy time together without ever feeling crouded. And the convenient location, within walking distance to the beach, a variety of coffee shops, grocery, restaurants and churches, meant we rarely needed or moved our car. These owner's should be commended for their attention to detail in providing guests a wonderful, clean, well equipped home and we would recommend this property to anyone seeking a nice shore vacation.

My 8 girlfriends and I spent a wonderful Sept. weekend in the house to celebrate one of us getting married. The house was so perfect for what we wanted: cooking; wine tasting; and going to the beach. What a beautiful old house this was - we all couldn't stop saying how much we loved it. Everything was so nice and upgraded, but still had the old charm and original feel of the house. It was perfect. I think we may even bring the boys next time - ehhh maybe not!!!

We spent a week at this beach house and had a wonderful time. Shawn did a great job making sure it had everything we would need. The beach chairs and umbrellas had a wheeled cart to transport them. What a pleasure! There were good books to read and toys for kids. The house was spacious and comfortable. It offered more than we expected. The back yard has a nice gas grill and offers a bocce ball court (which we used because there were directions on how to play!) Shawn left a looseleaf book with information on where to find things - a nice touch! Thanks for sharing your house with us. We loved it.

We spent 3 relaxful weeks in this very welcoming beach home. Each room has its own unique charm and invites its guests to kick back. We read on the open porch which catches a warm ocean breeze, day and night. We tasted wine and cooked dinner in the fully equipped kitchen that felt like home. This house is a perfect mix of old and new, quaint and modern,fun and relaxation. It is open, airy, sunny and cozy. It was very easy to make this home our own for three delicious weeks.
