Spend a week of Summer, from August 7th-14th, 2009, at the fabulous Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas on beautiful Maui - perhaps the world's premier island resort destination. You can either relax by the pool, hang at the beach or snorkel in the ocean right in front of the resort where you will find a multitude of tropical fish and sea turtles!
The resort pool is a real treat for the kids with the huge pool, water slide, two hot tubs and cabanas for rent. Don't forget, you can also stroll to the neighboring Westin Ocean Villas North and use all of their facilities which include a pool with a Pirate's Ship!
Of course you can also use one of the eight barbecues overlooking the ocean with sunset views to Lanai and Molokai to grill your dinner to perfection!! The condo also has a washer and dryer, jetted tub, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, CD and DVD player and broadband internet access.
The on-site store has a large variety of provisions and there are restaurants both at the resort itself and at the Ocean Villas North next door. Alternatively, leave the car behind and take one of the two free resort shuttles which whisk you away to either the other Starwood Hotels in Kaanapali (being either the Sheraton Maui and Westin Maui) where you can enjoy their dining facilities or to the Cannery Mall and Lahaina with its old world charm and many restaurants!
The unit we have is 1400 sq. ft. of ocean view. The accommodations, the beach, and the golf are perfect for a week long retreat. Relax on one of the best sand beaches in the world.
