This totally restored Vintage Lakehouse is a stones throw away from the crystal clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee. This is the house you remember from your childhood and the one your children will remember when they get older. 2,000 sq/ft home with hardwood floors, exposed beams, open concept living room, dining room and sun room all with over sized windows looking out to Smith Cove. 215 feet of water frontage with a large deck to sit and relax and watch the boats go by.The dock will easily accommodate a 27 foot boat. No boat? Use the 2 kayaks to fish or put around the cove.Easy walk to Gilford Beach or drive and we'll supply the parking passes. Great food in the area. Meadowbrook concert arena and a drive-in movie theatre are minutes away.
Just a short drive to Gunstock Mountain makes this a great weekend getaway.
Life as it should be!: Although you're tucked away and feel like you're light years away from it all, all the fun you want is just around the corner. There's the beach, Fays boat yard where you can rent a boat for the day or the week, Meadowbrook with all its concerts, the Drive-in by Weirs Boulevard, Outlet shopping....its endless fun. Or get up early and take the kayaks out and catch some trout or bass. Listen to the loons at night while you cook up something fresh on the grill. It really is the way life should be!

Our stay in Gilford, NH was "Tough" & relaxing at the same time. The house is amazing. It has enough room for 8 adults. The clean, fresh sets of sheets for each of us made our night! The view of the lake each morning was stunning. After our "Tough Mudder" event, we crawled back to the house. We loved being able to rinse off in the lake from the dock/ladder. Plenty of room outside for us all to drip dry. Wish we could have stayed longer to use the grill & chimney/fire pit. The house is close to all local necessities...Dunkin Dounuts, Hanafin's grocery story, Patrick's Restaurant. We would all come back to enjoy the house with our families.
