This very comfortable, well appointed home has easy access from Hwy. 267. Parking and access to the home is at ground level. It is 4 miles from Northstar Ski Resort, within 20 minutes to Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and several other ski areas. The house backs up to open space, which includes miles of maintained hiking, biking and cross country ski trails. Located in a quiet residential area, just 1 miles from the sandy beaches at Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe. Voted the best beach on the lake. Kings Beach is a state park with lifeguards, jet ski, paddle boat and kayak rentals. It is in the middle of town, with a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars. Stateline is one mile away with casinos, more restaurants, live music and concerts.
With 2 separate master suites and 4 additional bedrooms, this home works great for 2 families or a large group. There are two family rooms each equipped with gas fireplaces. The one upstairs we use for adults. It has a sliding glass door that opens to a sunny wrap around deck filled with patio furniture and a gas grill for hours of "hanging out". It also makes for a great "sleeping under the stars" deck. The family room downstairs is equipped with foosball, air hockey, T.V., VCR and board games for the kids. It also has direct access to the great outdoors and hours of great snow play (in the winter) on the slightly sloped lot.
The dining area is directly off of the upstairs family room. Table seats 10 plus the breakfast bar seats an additional 3. There is also a table downstairs that can be brought up (in extreme cases) and can seat an additional 4. The kitchen is fully equipped from blender to wine opener and has a french door leading on to the deck for easy access to the gas grill and outdoor entertaining.
There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The first is a large master suite with queen bed, private full bath and T.V. This room has large mirrored closets and 2 dressers. One other bedroom has twin beds, large mirrored closet and shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom which has a queen bed and large dresser.
Downstairs there are also three bedrooms. One being a master suite with queen bed, full pull out couch, private bath and private deck. One other bedroom has queen bed, double bunk bed (two children can sleep on the bottom and one on top)(great for mom, dad and kids) large mirrored closet, T.V. and shares full bathroom with the third bedroom which has one twin bed and a double futon.
All of the bedrooms have large windows that lookout to the forestland. All are individually decorated, have high end beds and bedding and all include electric mattress pads for winter warmth.
We have always heard that our home feels like "home" and people come back time and time again. The location and amenities can't be beat for the price.

We stayed here over Christmas and New Year this year with our extended family and it was a dream come true! We had all ages from two year old to 93 year old (and lots in-between) and the house was perfect for everyone. It was even more beautiful than the photos and all the special decorating touches in ever room blew us all away. We had a full house throughout the holiday season but because of the design of the house, with the large common areas and roomy bedrooms, it never felt crowded. Thank you for the well stocked kitchen. It made entertaining my group easy. We came to ski but never saw a flake of snow which one would think would spell disaster. However, because of the many fun things to do in the house (air hockey, foosball, and games) and Lake Tahoe activities,(hiking, disc golf, skating, bowling, and Truckee) we barely missed it! The location is close to everything and your wonderful welcoming home is now part of a treasured family memory. Thank you and I hope we can do it again! (Next time with more snow!!!!)

We needed a large home for our son's wedding. We found this place and it far exceeded our needs. We had young grand children who spent most of their time down stairs in the game room. We entertained wedding guests on the deck as we barbequed two nights before the wedding and then we were able to relax after the wedding. We returned at Christmas time for a few days of skiing and again were so satisfied. Can't wait to go again.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at your house. It was set up perfectly for our needs with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen supplies and a game room. The house is in beautiful condition and quite clean. Although my mother uses a cane, she had no trouble navigating the house and deck. Your binder with suggested activities helped us plan our week. It was a pleasure to deal with you and I hope we can get up there again. Linda and family

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. We were ten adults and 8 children. Everybody had plenty of space to move around and not be on top of each other. This home is wonderfully situated in a nice neighborhood (gorgeous hikes and next to the ski resort, Northstar). The house is perfect and very cozy: it is comfortable and has great equipment. We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving. Definetley will return".
