New 5 Bedroom Lake Home (completed in Feb 08) on 2.1 acre lot, with 335 feet of shoreline on beautiful Wynne Lake; spectacular views of Giants Ridge and sunsets. This custom cedar home was designed for families to make memories in. It is across the lake from Giants Ridge and only 5 minutes from the slopes and the top-rated Legend and Quarry golf courses.

The main level features a fully-equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, hickory cabinets, pantry and a breakfast bar. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare your favorite meals. Enjoy the huge vaulted-ceiling Great Room boasting tons of large windows to fully capture the lake views and beautiful sunsets. The tongue and groove knotty-pine ceiling, hardwood floors, gas fireplace and home theater system make this a terrific place to spend time with your loved ones.

There is a wonderful 3-season cedar screen porch and an expansive cedar deck overlooking the shoreline. This level also has a half bath, laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer, and a mud room off the garage. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main level and features a king size bed with pillow-top mattress, down comforter, and resort-quality bedding. The master bath has a "champagne bubbler" jetted tub, separate shower and a double sink vanity.

The lower level has 3 large bedrooms, each boasting a pillow-top queen bed, down comforters and large windows. Each has a generous closet and cozy in-floor radiant heat. There is a full bath on this level, along with a wonderful family room with fireplace and home theater system. This second living area also has a game table for family fun.

The fifth bedroom is on the upper level and is specially designed for kids. It has 4 twin beds and plenty of space for play.

Our home sits on a beautiful and peaceful 2.1 acre lot with 335 feet of shoreline and lots of white pines, maples and birch. There is also a wonderful outdoor gathering area surrounding a large fire-ring for great times relaxing around a warm, crackling fire.

Why crowd yourselves into a condo or hotel room, when you can stay in an unbelievable new 5 bedroom private home for the same price (or even less)? My family built this home to be a place where we could enjoy spending quality time together, with lots of recreational opportunities. We know you family will enjoy it too!

  • We enjoyed our stay and caught quite a few fish off the dock. The Legend and Quarry golf courses are awesome. The lake water was deep and cold for swimming, but other than that the accomodations were awesome.

  • Our (extended) family stayed in mid-July and we had an absolutely marvelous time! The cabin was even nicer and more beautiful than we imagined from the photos. There was plenty of space for 12 of us to sleep, cook, eat, play cards and board games and hang out. The fire ring was amazing. It's so nice that there are plenty of plastic chairs stacked down at the fire ring. The weather didn't cooperate for us to enjoy swimming in the lake, but a few brave souls did jump in (and jump right out again) and they reported the lake was clean (and certainly invigorating). This place had everything we could have asked for and more. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

  • Our party of ten adults really enjoyed our (second) stay! The accommodations are roomy and comfortable. The three season porch is a great escape on rainy days and the new dock is wonderful. Nearby recreational opportunities are plentiful, as are restaurants, grocery and retail stores. Some tips for future renters: For large groups staying multiple days, bring a few extra coolers. Although large, the refrigerator/freezer may not hold all of your supplies. Also, the water around the dock is very deep. For younger children, there is public (sandy) swimming beach just down the road. Overall, we love this place!

  • We had a wonderful Christmas in July at your beautiful home. Grandma & Grandpa were very comfortable in the master. The 3 married children were in the guest bedrooms downstairs. Grandkids were in the secret hideaway loft. The layout was perfect. We had plenty of room, never felt crowded & still liked each other at the end of our vacation!! The firepit was a perfect ending to wonderful days spent golfing, boating, disc golfing & bike riding. Gary's Pizza came highly recommended & we'll put an exclamation point to that one. Yummy!! This trip sealed the deal on our "skip the Christmas presents, pool the money & make wonderful memories in the summer". We couldn't think of anything to make the stay better. The home was perfect, the location is fabulous & our hosts made the process so easy. Thank you and when in doubt, rent this home. You won't be disappointed.

  • We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home that far exceeded our expectations. This home is in a gorgeous development, on a gorgeous piece of property with top of the line appliances, nice bathrooms & bedrooms, and fully stocked kitchen. There were eight adults and four children on our stay, and we had more than enough room to move around without feeling cramped. The lake was also picture perfect.When we walked down on the dock for the first time, we felt like we were in a postcard. The kids had so much fun floating, canoeing, and trying to catch cray fish and turtles. The huge firepit was also a great way to top off our nights.The gift basket full of great food was such a nice welcoming gift. We are all looking forward to going back next summer.

  • The house was beautiful. We had a group of 10 and it was spacious enough for everybody. I would definitely stay again. One word of caution to future guests, if you're going in the winter, make sure to drive a big car or else your car might get stuck in the driveway! =)

  • We all loved your house and thought it was beautifully appointed and thought the open floor plan was just perfect for a big group of people. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and dishes. The only suggestion for improvement is to provide a recycling system in the trash cupboard. We found it difficult to manage the recycling with the only repositories being in the garage. Maybe just add another trash can in the trash cupboard and label it "Recycling". Otherwise we loved it and will probably book again sometime!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home in Biwabik! The home is lovely and we were all very comfortable. It was a trip with our extended family. There were 4 different families all staying in the house and it worked out great. My parents were able to stay in the main floor bedroom and the other 3 adult couples stayed in the 3 rooms downstairs. The kids (teens and early 20s) stayed in the bonus room over the garage. We were all very comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone. We went skiing at Giant's Ridge. We liked the fact that the home was really close to the slopes, yet it felt secluded and private. Very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. Some of the family did some snowmobiling, which they really enjoyed. Lots of trail options. If your looking for somewhere to stay with a larger group and would all like to be together, this is the place. We would highly recommend it! Much nicer than a hotel.
