Sunset in the Bay at Frenchmans Cove - St. Thomas, Virgin Islands Condo Rentals Enjoy the 4th of July in wonderful St. Thomas. You and your family and or guests will have a blast! The Frenchman's Reef Marriott Resort is brand new and located near downtown St. Thomas. At this time of year there is a 4th of July carnival that takes place on the sister Island of St. Johns. There is a ferry ($5 US) that will run on the half hour till the wee hours of the morning to get you to and from the island (approx 15-20 min ride). While on St.Johns you will enjoy music, food, drink, 4th of July parade and of course fireworks! This is a great weekend to be on the islands. Or if that sounds too busy you can decide to stay on the island, sleep in, cook in or eat out. You can go on a kayaking or snorkeling adventure, or read a book. What you do is up to you. Kristi and I have been Marriott owners for over five years and cant say enough about the service. We have stayed here in St. Thomas for a week and loved it. The people at the Marriott were wonderful, the food was ridiculous, and we cant wait to go back! As a note, WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY AND THOSE WHO SERVE TO KEEP US SAFE.
