Two 8' patio doors facing onto a 30' deck overlooking the Bay. Brand new kitchen, eating counter and dining area, with a gas bar-b-q on the deck. New windows in the kitchen, dining room and bedrooms. Bathroom renovation completed in the Fall of 2010.
Cottage is surrounded by old growth red and white pines. Bonfire pit overlooking the lake. Access to the lake is a gentle sloping path through the forest. Convenience and liquor store seven minutes away. Kenora is 20 minutes east down the highway.
A large dock with excellent harbour and deep anchorage with a docking spot completes the amenities.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
We have a year round home beside the cottage that we built and moved into in 1980. The cottage has been in Rock's family since 1951 and has been the recipient of many addons and upgrades. After his mother passed we purchased a siblings interest and so now it is ours.
Why the Owner Chose Kenora
Clearwater Bay is the one of the most desirable locations in Lake of the Woods. It derives it's name for good reason. Pristine cool clear deep water is an ideal home for the lake trout.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Amazing sunrises and sunsets, and although they appear everyday, they are still wondrous. The eerie call of a loon, or sitting in front of the bonfire which is back lit by a full moon and a star filled night, roasting marshmallows. Early morning canoe rides on the still waters. Excellent hiking up and down narrow lakeside trails along cliff edges and through the forest, that end with a cool refreshing dip in the lake.
