This home boasts cathedral ceilings with large windows offering a continuous and uninterrupted view of the Lake. This home has a completely renovated kitchen, with new appliances, cabinets and countertops. The master bedroom and guest room feature French Doors that open onto the large patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon chat while rocking in a good old fashioned rocking chair. All bedrooms face the Lake, which is one of the premiere fishing lakes in the United States and host to many national fishing tournaments. Fish off the dock, relax with your favorite cold beverage on the large deck of the boat house, or just float on the water. Boat and jet ski rentals are available at nearby Joe Wheeler or Bay Hill Marinas. The Robert Trent Jones golf trail is also just minutes away for you golfers. Shopping and restaurants are 20 minutes away in either Historic Florence or in Athens. Parents of campers will find this the perfect place to stay while your child is at camp-close but far enough away! After camp, bring your family back to 'Bama House to play for another week.

- 'Bama House sits on a flat lot with a 180 degree frontage and totally unobstructed view of Lake Wheeler and portions of the Elk River. It is 1500 square feet of comfort, all on one level.
- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed: Absolutely no pets are allowed on site. If there is a violation of this rule in any way, guests will forfeit entire deposit.
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): This home is all on one level, so access by wheelchair should not be an issue. Contact owner to discuss.
- Kid Friendly: There are plenty of floaties provided for kids, and adults, to use.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Proof of age will be required. Minimum age for renting is 25.
- Smoking Not Allowed: Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside the home. If guests violate this rule, forfeiture of damage deposit will occur.

$550 deposit required to secure your reservation. This deposit does not apply to
rent; it converts to a damage deposit upon arrival. The $550 deposit--less the
cleaning fee of $150--will be returned within two weeks of departure provided no
damage to the home. Full rental amount due 2 weeks prior to arrival date.

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. My son and his family came up from Mobile for three nights. The kids took turns sleeping in the house and in the motor home. We also took the motor home to Huntsville for the Space Center. Your house is amazingly supplied. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and have never seen anything like the way this one is outfitted. The house itself was perfect. It was just as advertised. Everything, particularly the location and the lack of steps everywhere, were just what I needed. Thanks and I may see it again next summer!
