The house is really lovely and is well stocked with sheets, blankets, pillows and kitchen utensils. The owners obviously take good care of the house and can sleep many people. We will absolutely stay there again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Dishwasher did not thoroughly clean the dishes. View only from one corner window in bedroom. Need more cutting boards . Dishes badly chipped which is unsanitary. Property clean and neat. Space excellent. Photos accurate. Would recommend to others. Lots of activities for families at the ski center and Snow Mt. ranch and rec center Need more smaller glasses for younger children. Had a difficult time with the thermostat trying to regulate temp. Furnace was on when we arrived! Loud fan, had to shut system off to shut off loud fan. Easy access to trails. Beautiful deck and wonderful grill. Lovely home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: We love to hear how we can improve Hideaway Cabin. We have replaced our plates, added kids cups and serviced the dishwasher. Thank you for helping us maintain a comfortable place for our guests.

We had yet another amazing week in Winter Park at Hideaway (or the Moose House as our children call it). There was plenty of room for everyone (10 people) to spread out and make themselves at home and in such comfortable surroundings it was hard to convince ourselves to do anything other than hang out on the beautiful deck. It’s such a relief to be able to prepare all our meals in the huge, well-stocked kitchen saving us all time and money by not eating in restaurants. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the addition of the swings out back. Thank you so much for giving us such a lovely setting to reconnect with rarely seen family and a perfect place to make such treasured memories. We are all looking forward to the 4th Annual Family Reunion :) See you next year Moose House!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

To say this was a trip to go down in the memory books would be selling it short. My husband and I reserved this house and our three grown children, their spouses and our one grandson all met us in Denver and we drove up to Rendezvous. OH MY GOSH! The place far exceeded our expectations. A fully stocked kitchen made supper time easy. We played games every night at the big dining room table. The shuttle to Winter Park ski area was so close and convenient. Safeway is about 5 minutes down the road in Fraser. It just felt like "home" while we were there. Having the washer and dryer was great because we didn't have to pack for a week; we did a load of laundry every night and it was a breeze. Lots of hot chocolate and pop corn was consumed and we made family memories that will last a lifetime. We will definitely rent this house again and again and again. I would highly recommend this for families who want quality time together in a quality setting. The scenery is second to none and it's just a fabulous place. Thanks for allowing us the privilege of sharing family time together in your home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Our group of friends ( 5 kids and 5 adults) stayed on the property for 6 days. I would say that house is nicer in realty than it shows in the pictures. Property is in the forest almost on the top of the mountain in 5 minutes drive from the highway (about 15 minutes total to the Winter Park Resort parking). There is a lot of wild life around. We saw a fox on the patio of the house. Property is very clean and well maintained. Laurie was very responsive to all of our questions. We had no problems reserving property and receiving confirmation of our payments. It was an easy vacation for us. I would defiantly recommend this property for a larger group of people, multiple families and families with children, since property provides great flexibility in sleeping arrangements and has two leaving areas. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have stayed in this house two years in a row in December and it is great! We have had 2 families - 4 adults and 4 children (7-10 in age) and have more than enough room - could accomodate another family of 4 if needed. Kitchen is wonderful. Kids can sled down the hill on the side of the house and play in the snow at the house. Less than 10 minutes to the base of the mountain. Very short drive to grocery store, tubing hill and many restaurants also. Garage for your car rental. Very comfortable home. We'll likely be back for a 3rd visit next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Our family loves to be outside and this was the place for us! There are trails right outside of the front and back doors. We took the kids on several hikes up the mountain near the house and found so many interesting things in the woods. My husband and I were able to get our endorphin rush by mountain biking and trail running in the extensive trail system available to us. Just down the street were the conveniences of Winter Park. We could easily get to the grocery store and were close to the resort so we could go there for dinners out. You must try the Alpine Slide in the summer - what a rush! The house was magnificent. There wasn't anything missing in terms of cooking utensils and amenities. There were eight of us (4 adults and 4 kids) and we had so much room to be comfortable for a week. I highly recommend this property to anyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Hideaway Cabin sits up on a hill, not far from a walking trail in the woods across the street. We were there in July and found ourselves close to many hiking trails, horseback riding, shopping, and groceries. We have been to Winter Park many times over the last 7 years but never in summer. The location would be great in winter for those who want a short drive to and from the Winter Park base for skiing. There was a welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived at the cabin, which was a nice touch. We are a family of 7 and there were plenty of beds for the kids to choose from, rather than having to put them all in one room. The kitchen and family rooms are well laid out for cooking or just relaxing and being all together. The wrap around porch was also nice for sitting outside and grilling. I had a few questions for the owners prior to committing to the rental, which were answered promptly. Our family had a very pleasant experience at Hideaway Cabin.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

A weekend getaway seemed like a grand week-long stay in the mountains. The home was beautiful and very personable and impeccably detailed. The view of the western peaks and the town of Winter Park below was enchanting particularly in the evening, and access to footpaths in the National Forest delightful to traverse. Winter Park The owner was wonderful to work, with and we will highly recommend this to others (and have already) .Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
