Lovingly refurbished, our 4 bedroom cottage has 2 decks - one that looks at Boca Ciega Bay and a second intimate, secluded, covered porch between home and the garage (loft). A new fence surrounds the home for extra privacy. A new red aluminum roof has been the talk of the town! Original wood floors, a romantic fireplace, ceiling fans, central air, (new wall unit heat/air in loft) cabana striped awnings, bright tropical artwork and furnishings, complete the charm of old Florida living with contemporary amenities.

We love the area since it reminds us of old Florida.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage/Bungalow
So incredibly close to the beach! We can watch the goings on at the Merry Pier across the street, watch the dolphin, birds and fishermen from our front deck. Pass-a-grille is the greatest place to walk your dogs or just walk. After the beach gets boring the sights along the sidewalks so entertaining, old homes, renovated homes and new ones. We are right next to 8th Street, the historic street, with fun beachy shopping, not the typical tourist stuff. Action, but not too much. Nice place to relax and slow the pace. When you want action, go north of the Don Cesar Hotel and the action begins!!

Tom and I love to travel, our new way to travel is at VRBO properties. We still like B &B's and the high end hotels, tho! For some reason it always seems like we land on an island.
We are a melded family... continually melding. We are empty nesters with all children either on their own or in college. Together we have 4 children ages from 21 - 30. Three boys and 1 (unfortunate!) girl.
Two dogs, a Golden Retriever, a Chocolate Lab, and one very loud bird keep us busy. Our little parrot is a Rainbow Lory. She is just beautiful, talkative, and more work than you can imagine!
Busch Gardens in Tampa has a Lory exhibit where they land on you and you can feed them. They're messy and noisy but nice.

The Waterfront Charmer is the nicest place to enjoy a beach retreat. We loved all the bright colors, the perfect location, creature comforts, all the beachy decorations, pictures, furniture....it made all of us feel like we were on a tropical island and a place where my family could relax. This is where we spent our third family reunion and it added so much to our time together. I loved being able to see the sunrise and sunset over the water. Your home made us feel welcome and with family.

We have absolutely had the best time here in your home this week. Everything here (and I mean you do have everything here!) is so warm and inviting that we felt like we were staying at a good friend's home. We will miss the sunsets, the crab cakes, pecan pancakes, ice cream and great sea shells...I could go on and on. Even though we are only a 1/2 hour away from home, we felt like we were hours away.
