The comfortable cottage has everything you could possibly need for your vacation. Just bring a toothbrush!
Pass-a-grille is a charming old school Florida Community. It's a bit of a blast from the past. Our location is at the center of the community since it is right next to 8th St, which is the "hub" of this quiet spot.
We take great care to make sure you have all the comforts needed to make a vacation a memorable experience. We're fortunate enough to have acquired many repeat annual guests, we're starting to feel like a huge extended family!
Continually being updated, our 4 bedroom cottage has 2 decks - one that looks at Boca Ciega Bay and a second intimate, secluded, covered porch between home and the garage (loft). A privacy fence surrounds the home. A new red aluminum roof has been the talk of the town! Original wood floors, a romantic fireplace, ceiling fans, central air, (new wall unit heat/air in loft) cabana striped awnings, bright tropical artwork and furnishings, complete the charm of old Florida living with contemporary amenities.

Pass-a-Grille's Waterfront Charmer, Key West Style Bungalow
Year Purchased: 2001
Why the Owner Chose St. Pete Beach
We love the area since it reminds us of old Florida, with the old cottages, businesses and cozy friendly environment.
The Unique Benefits at this House
So incredibly close to the beach! We can watch the goings on at the Merry Pier across the street, watch the dolphin, birds and fishermen from our front deck. Pass-a-grille is the greatest place to walk your dogs or just walk. After the beach gets boring the sights along the sidewalks so entertaining, old homes, renovated homes and new ones. We are right next to 8th Street, the historic street, with fun beachy shopping, not the typical tourist stuff. Action, but not too much. Nice place to relax and slow the pace. When you want action, go north of the Don Cesar Hotel and the action begins!!
Owner's Map of St. Pete Beach
Tom and I love to travel, our new way to travel is at VRBO properties. We still like B &B's and the high end hotels, tho! For some reason it always seems like we land on an island.
We are empty nesters with grown - children and no grandchildren. Poor us.
We love animals and currently have two old dogs, a Golden Retriever, a Chocolate Lab.

It is with sincere appreciation that we thank you for your graciousness and hospitality. We've had the best vacation we've had in years! You stocked the house with so many supplies and thoughtful "extras" that truly made us feel welcome and made our stay here easier and more pleasurable. You have such a warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated home, and we have genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Another glorious month in our very favorite Waterfront Charmer! Every year we are surprised to find our "secret" beach place is still here and another bit of whimsy has been added. This is the best spot on the best beach in Florida. Thank you for having us back...we look forward to next year.

I am "in love" with your cottage! My two favorite spots... the tall adirondack chairs on the front deck (coffeee in the AM and wine in the PM..Great!) and the (pink) daybed. Everything was available and made us feel right at home. We will return!!!

The thought of driving 16+ hours back home to 36 degree weather in St Louis does NOT excite us! We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here at your amazing beach home in Pass-a-grille, We almost feel like locals! We just watched dolphins happily swimming in the inner coastal waterway across the street....We will be returning (home) with sun-kisssed skin and relaxed attitudes. Thank you for making our family's Spring Break a vacation that we will remember for always. We would definitely rent from you again...thanks too for being great hosts - we appreciated the warm welcome and all the yummy goodies.

Despite the rocky start it was hard not to enjoy your lovely home. You are for sure a gracious hostess. I think you have thought of everything. Your home is charm in, comfortable, and warm, I expect much like you. We will for sure be in touch in the future. From owner: We unfortunately had a gas leak capped then fixed just before Victoria's arrival. The gas line was fixed but we couldn't get Teco Gas to come inspect it before she arrived. Teco went on a long Christmas Vacation. Victoria was without hot water 5 days. We offered the showers in our home to make life easier.
