Thank you for letting us use your comfortable home. Always a pleasure. This is the first Christmas my parents have spent in Florida in about 15 years. So many special adventures while we were here, in a familiar, beautiful place to return to at the end of the day. We'll be back! Note from owner: these guests are wonderful, they've celebrated, HS graduations, college graduations, and now Christmas. A great way to celebrate with extended family ...on the beach!

We really loved your beach house. It certainly exceeded our expectations. If we plan to vacation again it'll be here. Unfortunately we had an uninvited guest named Debby. The tornado was frightful but we all were unharmed in your home. Thank you!! Note from owner: These guests were great. They rolled with the punches, electricity down, phone lines, cable lines.... and they still would come back!

The pictures do not do this adorable house justice!! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable - in addition, the owner has gone to great lengths to think of everything you might need. The house is already stocked with spices, condiments, shampoo, soap, detergent, paper products - if you need it, it is already there! Which leaves you to buy just the big grocery items your family will use then just re-supply the small stuff. Total money saver!! There are beach chairs,umbrella, cooler,buckets - everything you would need for the beach! The Beach is gorgeous, just one block away with a wonderful adult & kid snack bar, and restrooms. Right across the street is the intercoastal waterway and marina - wake up to beautiful sunrises over the water. Like to fish? Drop the line in across the street and get your bait from the marina or go down to the 1st street jetty. My kids caught 3 trout and 2 flounder - they were big enough for dinner! Like shelling? Take the shuttle from the marina to Shell Key and enjoy a quiet day on a nature reserve island where we found real shells and sand dollars in crystal clear water. Right next door is a fantastic breakfast/lunch place with incredible food and prices. The front of the house is beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed the hammock and oversized chairs. We are a family of 5 and the house could have easily and comfortably accommodated 3 more people. Feel so blessed to have been in such a wonderful spot!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The charm of this house made it instantly relaxing. This may be the closest we've come to finding the perfect place. The pace of Pass-a-grille suits us well. Thank you for your generous hospitality. We could not have asked for a more comfortable house in a great location.

Our week at Pass-a-grille has flown by but we will carry great memories of our time at this perfect place for our family. Our boys loved the freedom to check out the fishing at the dock, buy bait, go get some ice cream and all in a safe family environment. They really liked their loft over the garage. I am "in love" with your cottage! My two favorite spots... the tall adirondack chairs on the front deck (coffeee in the AM and wine in the PM..Great!) and the (pink) daybed. Everything was available and made us feel right at home. We will return!!!

The thought of driving 16+ hours back home to 36 degree weather in St Louis does NOT excite us! We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here at your amazing beach home in Pass-a-grille, We almost feel like locals! We just watched dolphins happily swimming in the inner coastal waterway across the street....We will be returning (home) with sun-kisssed skin and relaxed attitudes. Thank you for making our family's Spring Break a vacation that we will remember for always. We would definitely rent from you again...thanks too for being great hosts - we appreciated the warm welcome and all the yummy goodies.

Despite the rocky start it was hard not to enjoy your lovely home. You are for sure a gracious hostess. I think you have thought of everything. Your home is charm in, comfortable, and warm, I expect much like you. We will for sure be in touch in the future. From owner: We unfortunately had a gas leak capped then fixed just before Victoria's arrival. The gas line was fixed but we couldn't get Teco Gas to come inspect it before she arrived. Teco went on a long Christmas Vacation. Victoria was without hot water 5 days. We offered the showers in our home to make life easier.

Well, now that we are "regulars", we really feel at home here. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us (again!) This year we did LESS but enjoyed ourselves MORE! This immediately became our favorite vacation spot ever! The house is incredibly comfortable, with every detail considered - and then some. We really enjoyed our stay in the Waterfront Charmer. It is indeed a charming house and we, family of six, used all the spaces to enjoy a very comfortable stay. We often do VRBO and this is far a away the best equipped home we have ever rented and very good arrangements, thanks to Pat.

After reading the comments about this Pass-a-grille house I had the sense that it would be charming, but until the moment we walked in the door I had no idea just HOW charming it could be. Our family travels often and tends to be a little picky about where we stay (it's hard to please 3 generations traveling together!) but this home surpassed our expectations in every way. Pat has thought of every little detail to make each nook inviting and comfortable. We spent an outrageously nourishing and relaxing vacation here, and could hardly wipe the smiles off our faces the entire time we were so thrilled. It is the perfect house in the perfect location - we rented it sight unseen and couldn't have been happier. If you are trying to decide about where to rent, don't hesitate!

The Waterfront Charmer is the nicest place to enjoy a beach retreat. We loved all the bright colors, the perfect location, creature comforts, all the beachy decorations, pictures, furniture....it made all of us feel like we were on a tropical island and a place where my family could relax. This is where we spent our third family reunion and it added so much to our time together. I loved being able to see the sunrise and sunset over the water. Your home made us feel welcome and with family.

We have absolutely had the best time here in your home this week. Everything here (and I mean you do have everything here!) is so warm and inviting that we felt like we were staying at a good friend's home. We will miss the sunsets, the crab cakes, pecan pancakes, ice cream and great sea shells...I could go on and on. Even though we are only a 1/2 hour away from home, we felt like we were hours away.

Why would anyone travel overseas? Pass-A-Grille offers eveything anyone could ever want and your Waterfront Charmer encompasses it all for a home away from home. We were in heaven for our time here. Pat, you never missed a beat for the home you've created. We even found the toothpicks for our bacon wrapped scallops! We would come back here as long as God willing, we "stay on the planet". On our third visit to Waterfront Charmer we've determined that the month of July is the perfect time to spend here. These first two days of August are pretty wonderful too. It's just so hard to leave Paradise. Our whimsy is recharged. We head home TRUSTING your wonderful home and hospitality will be here next summer.

Our family had a wonderful stay in St Petersburg thanks to the terrific accommodation that you provided. We had plenty of room for our family and enjoyed alt he comforts of your home. Family members who stayed at the Tradewinds Resort couldn't get over how charming your home and it's setting is!
