This single Key West style home is completely furnished and situated in Clearwater, a private, wooded community with a tennis court, pool, and two ‘catch and release’ fish ponds. The tree-lined neighborhood is family oriented and nicely suited for walking, jogging, and biking. The pool & tennis area is a one-block walk. The Clearwater community is a two and a half hour drive from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. Bike to downtown Bethany Beach, about a mile and a half away, and enjoy its wide, sandy beaches, boardwalk, shops and restaurants.
The house is located on a quiet street, with off-street parking for four vehicles, and an oversized outside shower with dressing area. The first floor has wide plank maple floors, an updated kitchen, fireplace, TV with DVD player, master bedroom with Queen bed, TV, and master bath. There is a covered front deck, and a wide deck in back overlooking a pond, with a propane grill and large eating area. The second floor includes two bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has two double beds, a TV/DVD, and the second bedroom has a double/twin bunk system. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Public beaches are available in Bethany Beach, South Bethany, and at the Delaware Seashore Park and the Fenwick Island State Park. Sport fishing boats are available nearby at Indian River Inlet in Delaware, and Ocean City, Md. There is also access to golf, boating activities, jet ski rentals, crabbing, hiking, and wildlife viewing nearby. Tax-free shopping and restaurants are plentiful along the coast from Ocean City, Maryland to Lewes, Delaware. We are 25 miles from the Cape May – Lewes Ferry, and 15 miles from Ocean City.
