This one bedroom (Sleeps four), two bath condominium with remodeled kitchen and bathrooms is great for families or couples. With is ground floor location the lanai opens out to the lush tropical gardens, and large grassy area for children's play.

All units have complete kitchens which includes: electric stove & oven, refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Units are fully equipped with chinaware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, cutlery, etc.
Some units have central air and large lanai's. All units have ceiling fans, TV's, in both living room and bedrooms. DVD players and plus lots of extras.
One-bedroom units have either a king or queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
All towels and linens are provided.
Beach towels and beach chairs are provided.

My wife and I have been to Maui three times and stayed in this complex twice. I would have to say that this unit felt the most like a home. It has nice appliances, central air (we didn't need it, but if we did it is better than a wall unit) and a well stocked kitchen. The artwork fits the place nicely and the bed is quite comfortable. Close to the beach and easy access to the rest of the town. We would certainly stay in this unit again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

.........I was told that there would be sand toys for the kids, but there was none and we had to buy some at Safeway and now they have some. There was a cooler which was nice. Someone else left noodles, the kids boogie board was ok, the others ones were broken; there was only two beach towels (which is fine if there is only 2 people). We had no DVD player in this condo. The reason we get a condo is because I prepare most all our meals, so I need a kitchen with all the utensils. The two things that I needed the most was a measuring cup, and a grater, and the condo did not have these things. I had to borrow it. The coffee pot works, but falls apart. We had breakfast every morning on the Lanai and loved the first floor, the kids can just run around and play, and you can just walk to the pool. You can also walk to the beach for a stroll. We prefer the Wailea beach for swimming. The ten days passed really quickly and we had to go home. The unit over all is ok, it’s nice that it has tile everywhere. It is not as updated as the ones our friends stayed in (for the same price), but it works. It could use a really good cleaning.
Owner response:Thank you for you input. We do supply beach towels, beach toys and most kitchen items needed in for our units, however what happens is families that are visiting and have more then one unit either leave items at other units or at the beach or pool. We have recently hired a person to do inventory of our units to make sure that these items are there. As far as the cleaning we are looking into other housekeeping options. A new DVD and the coffee pot has been replaced. We are glad you enoyed your vacation in Maui and at Kamaole Sands and hope that you stay with us in the future.
