We stayed in the house one week in July with our family of two adults and three children and enjoyed the house very much. The situation close to the ocean and Cambria centre were very good, as was the view from living and balcony on the ocean and sun down. We felt like home with a nicely equipped kitchen, a good barbeque, roomly dining\living room, the bedrooms and bathrooms! As guests from Europe we had to get used to the ocean side weather conditions of clouds in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon dependent on your position along the coastline. very nice acticities in the neighbourhood: San Simeon beach, horse back riding, Morro Bay whale watching, sealions, Cambria towncentre, Hearst Castle, Highway 1, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles swimming pool, country fair and wineries. Conclusion: we had a super week!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The place was nice, clean, roomy, good view of the ocean, and good rate, compared to the other places around that I checked. Hoping that the TV was bigger. We love to cook but the oven wasn't working during our stay. Other than that our stay at this place was pleasant and relaxing.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

This house is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful cherry wood floor on the second level. Kitchen, living area, and master bedroom are on second floor; queen bedroom and double bedroom are on lower floor. It rained most of our stay in Cambria, but that did not stop us from having a wonderful time and relaxing in this beautiful home. Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, with its boardwalk along the bluffs, is just under a mile away and a highlight of a visit. Main Street is two or three minutes by car. Hearst Castle is an easy 13-minute drive up the coast, and the elephant seals are three miles past that. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives.

This was a perfect place for my family over the Thanksgiving weekend. 2 from San Francisco and 4 from So.Cal.The location was perfect and the property was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the town of Cambria and in no time at all we could visit Morro Bay and just up the road were lot's of Elephant Seals. Everyone one has asked for me to save this place for next Thanksgiving and maybe in the Summer time. Great place for all seasons.

Our weekend in this home was wonderful! We were there for our daughter's wedding, and it was perfect to bring our family all together for the weekend. It is very nicely furnished and decorated, extremely comfortable and relaxing, and the neighborhood is charming. The list of 'things to do while you are here' was great. There was something for everyone to enjoy. We hope to enjoy this home again in the future.

Seven of us thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this lovely rental. All rooms were immaculately clean and comfortably furnished. The owners gave us very useful information with recommendations for restaurants and activities around Cambria. With members of our group traveling from the Bay Area and Southern California, it was a perfect place to meet for our gathering. I highly recommend this property and would love staying there again.

Excellent location. Easy access to the water with beautiful shoreline. Great views from living room and upper deck facing west toward sunset. Quiet neighborhood.

This home was truly perfect for meeting up with our family! They came from No. Cal, we came from So. Cal. It was our first trip with our little one, too (and our 2nd time staying in this house)! The area couldn't be prettier, and the kids played at the park (Shamel Park) a block away. We walked down to the beach, saw the Elephant Seals along the coast. The home was perfect for all our needs. We used the outdoor grill, cooked some meals in the kitchen, brought in some food from Linn's and the Main Street Grill. The place is furnished nicely and the owners couldn't be nicer! We'll be going back again soon and hopefully staying right here!
