What a great home! This was a chance for my 3 kids to get together with their kids, and their cousin and her husband, and myself. There were 7 thirty-somethings, 2 two years olds, 2 nine year olds, one 62 year old (me) and one tiny dog. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen is very well stocked (we did a lot of cooking). We thought we were bringing 4 snowmobiles but ended up only bringing 2. There is plenty of room for parking all the vehicles. Not enoungh snow when we were there to drive from the house but it's a quick trailer ride to Lake Paulina and we rented 2 more for some excellent riding. The game room, hot tub, fire pit and barbeque made it perfect. A great time was had by all and we will definitely be renting this place again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: That is exactly what we love about this house, plenty of room for everyone and lots to do both inside and out. There are so many trails to explore so next year there will be a whole new adventure! See ya next year! :)

We had a bunch of friends here to celebrate a birthday party. The house comfortably slept 17 if you don't mind not having a bedroom. The kids slept upstairs and the adults had fun downstairs in the game room with foosball, pool tournament and plenty of laughs. The house was clean and warm. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted and more. We brought some kitchen stuff that we didn't end up needing because it was already at the house. There was more than enough bedding. The drive to Mt. Bachelor was quick and we spent two days on the ski slopes, returning to the comfort of the home in the evenings. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

What a great place for a group or large family gatherings. We did not want for anything, everything was there that we needed...we even had enough had enough room for unexpected guests. The game room rocks!!! We had 3 different tournaments going on at the same time!!! pool, ping pong and Foosball...anymore people and I'm sure we could have gotten some darts going!! The kitchen is very well equipped for large parties and small parties, there was even enough plates to go around for 8 hungry grown men!!! I would recommend this home to anyone who wants a home away from home and a retreat that lacks nothing!!! What a treat and what a great find!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AT THE COVINA SLED SHED!!! The house is on a quiet and peaceful road surrounded by pine trees, less than 2 miles from Sunriver. I have been looking to rent this home for the past 2 years. It caught my eye because it had a huge game room with a pool table AND you can snowmobile directly from the house rather than trailering the sleds to a Sno-Park or meet a guide there for a tour. Luckily I was able to reserve this house for the end of February 2012 for 6 couples to go snowmobiling. The owner was easy to work with since I had to collect funds from 6 different people. The house was in great condition when we arrived on Friday afternoon. The heat had been turned up in the house and the hottub was hot. The house had all the pots/pans, bowls, dishes, silverware, knives and appliances we needed, so I didn't need the few I brought (just in case). The bedrooms were nicely decorated and of good size. There were lots of movies and games to choose from, Unfortunately, no one believed my prediction of snow, so we did not reserve snowmobiles in time, as there was no snow on the ground when the group had to decide to rent snowmobiles or not. As luck would have it, on Saturday, we woke up to 12" of beautiful powder on the ground. (TOLD YOU SO!!) This would have been ideal for snowmobiling or quading, but as it turns out, we enjoyed looking at the gorgeous view from the many large windows which make up the wall of the living room. It was so serene to watch the snow fall, while being warm and dry indoors. We made ourselves comfortable watching movies and enjoying playing pool and ping-pong, with an occasional game of foosball. We also went to the Wanoga Sno-Play area to make use of the sledding hill and had a fun time watching the adults act like kids sledding down on innertubes. This would be a perfect house for families with children or a Girls Weekend. There are 3 futons in the game room and a seperate alcove with a bunk bed and a futon. It does sleep 17 people, if you are not too concerned with privacy. We will definitely be back to this house. Thanks for the good times!!! See you next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a fun time we had at the Corvina Sled Shed. Lots of room to accompany our large group and plenty of entertainment both at the house and in the surrounding areas. We skied at Mt. Bachelor for two days and loved how close and convenient it was. Highlights included the large hot tub, outdoor fire pit and the huge game room. We will definitely be back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We rented the house for a lower-key bachelor party weekend. 12 of us (guys and girls) felt very comfortable in the home, and really enjoyed the amenities. There was enough space to spread out, do different things, and just relax. The Hot Tub, Game Room, and deck got a lot of use, and were well suited to our needs! The hot tub and deck, as well as the game room, got a LOT of use, and were great to have available. A few of the guys went cycling on the roads/trails nearby, using the bikes in the garage, which was also nice to have available. The kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to prepare large meals for our group, and the bar and dining room table gave us enough space to all sit together. A small grocery store is about 5 minutes away, the river is very close, and the backyard opens up to trails. Very nice location. There were no major issues, and everyone thanked me for setting it up. Everyone had a great time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Very disappointed in this house. Guess it photographs well...From the minute you open the door to the garage by the kitchen an obnoxious smell of gas permeates the house and makes you nauseous. The carpets were stained so bad, I wouldn't let my kids sit down on them. Disgusting! The bed linens and towels smelled musty/mildew. Smell lingers when you dry off. Shower doors are flimsy plastic. Never seen anything like it. Broken chairs on deck, not useable. Guest bathroom toilet looked like a axe had been taken to it. Cigarette butts all over outside. Telescope in family room was broken and dangling off stand. Futon bed downstairs was being held up by a boulder, making it un-useable. Sleeping area in basement are cement walls, cold, dark and kinda scary for young kids. Very old uncomfortable futons. Very dungeon like. Game room is cool. Kitchen is fine, nice knives. This house is perfect for a group of college kids. In my opinion, not families. If you have young kids that want to ride bikes, don't rent this house. It's on a gravel road and is very far from any bike paths. -Would not recommend this property to a friend or family member -About a 5 minute drive from country store -Emailed owner about concerns, she responded with an apology and I requested a refund due to so many problems. She only refunded our cleaning deposit.Owner response: We don't want anyone to be disappointed, and I do regret that the carpet cleaning was postponed until after this stay. We rely on feedback from others to know when things aren't working, so we appreciate the opportunity to resolve issues. I always encourage people to call me if they have questions before their stay.

We had a fabulous time at your vacation home. We had four families with between 19 and 25 people staying for the week. It was very comfy and was a great fit for our large group. The game room downstairs was perfect for evening activities and we certainly put it to good use. It was close to Sunriver for shopping, bike riding, floating the river and plenty of golf courses to pick from. Hopefully we'll have a chance to come back for another stay. Thanks for everything!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed in this house three times now, twice with our four kids and once adults only with 2 other couples. I love the large family room which is filled with bright sun in the winter and summer. The large windows make you feel like you are in the outdoors when you are cozy by the fire or lounging on the couches. Our kids loved the game room, kid bunk beds and access to the backyard and patio through their own door. The living room is also a great place for games and the owner has quite a large selection to pick from. There is a lot of us in our family so we enjoyed the large dining table and lots of kitchen counter space to make big meals. The hiking and walking paths take you through the wilderness and are so much nicer than the "paved" crowded paths that wind through the subdivision of sunriver. We hike up to the little mountain that the owner has marked on the map on the wall for an amazing view every trip. In the winter it is snowmobile ready and after ski cozy. The hot tub on the deck is fabulous after being out all day. I appreciated the large garage space to leave our wet boots and clothes so I didn't feel like I had to rush things into the dryer. When our trip was adult only we enjoyed the separate bedroom spaces and wonderful living area with lots of couches and comfortable spaces. The entertainment centers got plenty of use and we enjoyed looking through the collection of movies and music. We were hoping to make another trip out there before they are fully booked for the winter! Enjoy this house as we have.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really loved the house; it was perfect for a group of teenage boys, and they had a blast. If they weren't skiing, they pretty much stayed downstairs unless they were eating or in the hot tub. It was really quiet upstairs for the adults! We may do it again next year. Thanks, JudyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I've stayed at this house twice. Let's get the facts out of the way. 1. Access to snowmobile trails in the back yard. Uh, do THAT in the main Sunriver area. 2. Spacious layout. This place breeds communication and family time. The rooms are east and west, the floor plan is open. 3. Hot tub. Need I say more? Bloody mary's at 10am. 4. Pool table, ping-pong and a whole basement to get crazy in. If you're younger, this means flip-cup. If you're older, this means a place for kids to have fun without bothering you while soaking in the tub. 5. Mud room in the entry. Honestly, it's nice to strip off wet clothes from snow play without tracking it all over the house. It's all tile so you can let your stuff dry out. 6. Full kitchen. You can cook a meal to feed 20 with all of your roomies all helping. 7. GIANT back yard. If you're there in the summer, enjoy plenty of room for Frisbee/Football with a huge grass pad for tackling your best friend into the turf. 8. TV/stereo system(s). Plentiful. Loud. Piss off the neighbors! 9. Garage with bikes and sleds. Use them until you get all the Clark Griswold cereal varnish out of your system. 10. Fire pit. It's gas, its warm. Sunset is choice. I'd suggest something you're kids can't drink while taking it all in with your lady-friend. 11. Ample sleeping room. Location, location, location. Master bedroom has hot tub access off the bathroom. Make your guests jealous by calling "dibs" right at entry. All in all, great place. Tons of room to play and have a good time, but this place packs something for the romantic wanting to keep it low-key. While everyone is down stairs playing around, get cozy by the fire pit or indoor wood stove. Each time I've been it's clean and comfortable. Be sure to sign the guestbook and enjoy the high desert!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

You never really know what you are getting by just looking at the pictures, but I will say this is better than I had ever anticipated. The house is BEAUTIFUL! It has big floor to ceiling windows that are the perfect spot to gaze out of in the morning. The downstairs was ideal for our group and gave us many activities to do. We honestly only left the house once to go to the grocery store because there was no need to leave. It is a beautiful house and I look forward to staying here many more times! I would recommend this house to anyone searching for a place to stay!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house has a really good layout, with a comfortable and open upstairs. We liked the large porch with the hot tub overlooking the yard. The downstairs is where the fun is at, it's huge and there are tons of things to do, along with a kid's bunk room. The yard is big too and has a good sense of privacy. We came in summer, but would like to check this place out in the winter as well.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary with family and friends at this home. Very spacious, beautiful views, and comfortably furnished. Dealings with the owner were easy and the instructions were very simple and easy to follow. The place was furnished with plenty of extra bedding and towels and has all the necessities. We absolutely loved the game room and had tournaments to all hours of the night. The hot tub was really nice after a long day of skiing and snowboarding. The house was definitely close to the mountain, which was nice. Although there wasn't too much snow on the ground around the house (it was a strangely mild winter this year) we didn't lack for things to do. The only thing I would say would have improved the house was a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.... not a necessity, but we prepared and cooked all our meals there at the home and it would have just been a tad easier. We hope to make this a annual trip and will definitely be staying at this home again and again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This was a special trip for my family to get together after it had been a year since we had seen each other. This rental has everything you could think of from a pool table to a big screen TV. The kitchen was huge and well equipt. Many sleeping options for many guests including kids and the queen size beds were very comfy. Lots of things to do in Sunriver, but with only 4 days, we just mainly visited. Maybe the bike path next year?Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Here's a vacation get away where you want for nothing. My kids and I went at the end of March and enjoyed about 12" of new snowfall. Mt. Bachelor's just down the road and the kids enjoyed snowboarding a couple of days. In the house, there's something like 4 TV's, a great selection of dvds, pool table, ping pong, darts, foos ball, a fully equipped kitchen, a gorgeous view from the wide open living room and plenty of sleeping room for a large group … oh ya, must not forget the Jacuzzi outside the master bedroom! It’s the perfect combination for an active day followed by a relaxing evening. This beats anything inside the Sunriver complex, but five minutes away from the Sunriver store incase you forgot the corn flakes or need more milk! The one big difference with this house compared to Sunriver or Black Butte, is you’re not on top of your neighbor. You’ve got total seclusion in the expansive back yard. Got your trailer of snowmobiles, quads or boat? No problem with huge circular driveway in front. Best to grab about four days though … just the weekend isn’t enough! This is a real gem in the mountain of choices out there for your weekend get-away dollar. Can't wait to go back in the summer time!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
