Amazing place for big or mini vacation or get away! the main cabin and the cottage are soooooo clean and cozy they are warm and inviting ! The beds, pillows and all the furnitures just like it advertise. We love the water view, Oysters harvesting, clams diggin and best of all the soaking in the hot tub..... would love to come back again during the Summer time and reccommend this place to everyone I know...:) thank you!!!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your homes. These places are amazing. We loved the fresh oysters, clams, and most of all Crabbing. The kids loved the rope on the tree. We loved staying at the main cabin! The location is great - right on the canal which is full of oysters. My husband enjoyed eating them right from the water - my youngest daughter was in charge of harvesting. We stayed four nights and did not want to leave - during our stay we visted the Hoodsport Trail, attended the Shrimpfest in Brinnon and played golf at Gold Mountain in Bremerton. The IGA was close by and even had a redbox to rent videos for a family movie night. In addition, the owners have a large collection of books and puzzles that my girls enjoyed. We took pictures of all the different puzzles we put together during our stay. Also, the washer/dryer were a terrific plus! Would stay here again if visiting the Olympic Peninsula.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Hood Canal Summers are the Best!

We spent six days in 75 degree weather in this lovely and comfortable cabin with our three kids. We crabbed, boated, and my husband ate his fill of oysters, which I didn't think would be possible. Our three kids are 15, 14 and 11 and they enjoyed themselves tremendously. The youngest made his own baby crab habitat, puddled in the water, and spent hours on the rope swing; my 14-year-old daughter discovered her skill and love for oyster shucking; and my 15-year-old son became a "master" crabber. Can't tell you how nice it was to have this time together as a family. The off road parking was wonderful, the view from the deck was fabulous, and the time together as a family with no distractions was priceless. Thanks so much!

What can we say but wow! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us as we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. The weather wasfabulous was was the not tub! Thanks for the peace and quiet. We needed it! PS. Most comfortable pillows ever!

Last night was fabulous. The hot tub, the fog rolling in, spending this time with my baby sister and two close friends before she leaves for boot camp. Every amenity available here is amazing and relaxing. Waking up to no alarm clock and the tide rolling in. Nothing but peaceful. This will be a memory to reflect on and never forget. I appreciate you having a wonderful place like this for us city folk longing for time away to retreat to. I will definitely be back with my own children. Thank you so much. P.S. My baby sister has done nothing but make me proud. I will miss her terribly while she is away at bootcamp in Missouri!!!

So in 5 days I'm going to leave for boot camp. I'm leaving the only home and family that I have to better my and my kid's future... Well my sister and her awesome friends decided to take me to this kick ass cabin. I have to say that this is just the perfect get-a-way. I can't tell Mike and Jayme and Johnny how much I appreciate this trip they planned for me. It's so beautiful and relaxing and the hot tub is just awesome! Thank you so much for accomodating our last-minute escape from the city. Our stay was simply put...amazing, restful, relaxing and rejuvinating. I had such fun cooking up big meals in your well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed cozy nights listening to the fire crackle in the fireplace. Your cabin in fantastic! No detail overlooked. We hope to come back soon with more time to stay, a couple of kayaks on the car...and some better fishing techniques.

This beach cottage is warm, inviting and tastefully designed! For a group of moms who don’t get away nearly enough, it was perfect. What a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. I'll definitely book this vacation property again.

Wow, what a great place. We had such a great time. The kids had so much fun. We took the jet skis to Cushman & played all day. They also combed every inch of your beach looking for shells and crabs. We have stayed only 1 night in the smaller cabin. It was a joy to see the love you put into everything you did down to the last detail! I really wish it could have been a longer stay with more sunshine (rain all day) but the cabin was a safe harbor. Thanks for the hospitality.

Thanks for sharing your beach cabins with our family. They are spectacular by any measure! Every detail was perfect and we had a great week on the canal. My wife Kim caught a 10 lb salmon and lost one much bigger. No crab, but we ate plenty without it - no one went hungry or without getting plenty of sun. We hope to see you again next year. To our two wonderful innkeepers: we add our thanks for sharing the Lilliwaup cottage with us. It has been a wonderful way to celebrate our FIFTYIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. Thanks for all the special arrangements and the great accommodations. We crabbed, oystered, dug clams and met some truly great neighbors over the two weeks. It was especially wonderful to spend the time where Mary Lou's mother lived in the cottage next door for thirty years and where our children learned to swim and fish. It has been a tryly great experience which we hope we can repeat next year.

Mahalo for the outstanding "Hale". What a slice of paradise. Our "Girls Gone Wild "08" vacation was truly one for the memory book. We planned a "girls-only" get away for my 80 y/o mother, daughter, sister & niece. What a fabulous spot for us all. We had just the most wonderful, relaxed, heavenly time here. We ate tons of oysters, loved our view, got some snow, stayed next to the fire for hours and even had a wintery hot tub. Thank you for everything this place is magic - we might be moving in when you least expect it!
