Private home on nearly 3 acres in the exclusive,*GATED* Portuguese Bend Community. The "Cowboy Wife's house" is a comfortable family home with a 180 degree ocean view of the shoreline; The view extends from the "Trump National Public Golf Course" to the south, out to "Catalina Island" and on to the tide pools of Inspiration cove to the North. Abalone Cove Marine Reserve & tide pools are within walking distance.
Our home has been the location of several private weddings, but is available for family vacations only at this time. It is not a party venue due to the quiet nature of our community.
There is a hot tub/spa built into the redwood deck surrounding the house that has its own ocean view... very private! There are 50 miles of hiking, biking trails just outside the door. This property adjoins a newly created Land Conservancy.
The "Cowboy Wife's house" is located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean yet is approximately one hour driving distance (depending on traffic) to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, newly renovated Los Angeles Observatory, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, LAX, Long Beach and John Wayne airports.

This property is in a very private location yet near the ocean and some fantastic restruants. Our local frozen yohgurt shop has "Happy Hour" most week nights where you can sit and watch the sun sey and perhaps see a whale in the channel at whale season...
