The "Fairweather Cottage" was originally built in 1904 on land that was purchased from the Banning Brothers in 1896. Property on the Island of Catalina can only be privately owned within the one mile square town of Avalon. This home is located in the "flat" section of Avalon, so you don't need to climb any hills or steps to get to the beach. Only 2 blocks to the water; you can get around easily and have access to all the resort town has to offer.
The cottage has been newly renovated to modern standards. New furniture, 32-inch flat screen TV above the fireplace. Brand new carpet and paint, new kitchen with modern appliances, large front deck with seating to enjoy meals and watch the beach parade pass by.
