Nearby tourist attractions include the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins spring training facility in Fort Myers. There is also the Sun Splash water park in Cape Coral. You are a short drive away from Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, as well as Matlacha. There you will find many outstanding restaurants and unique boutiques for shopping. There are also several major department and chain stores in the most modern mall environment which are only minutes away. Miramar Outlet mall and surrounding malls are within easy driving distance.

I have rented this villa for my family and friends for three consecutive years now and have never had any issues with the property or with the owners. I have found them to be courteous, very responsive and a pleasure to do business with. Consequently, I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any other family. The listing description was accurate and the villa does have an unadvertised section for adults to ‘hang out in’.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: These Folks from Vancouver are great renters and we enjoyed having them and look forward to many more years.The unadvertised area is approximately 450 square feet of comfortable air conditioned / heated space with television dvd 3 futon beds,two single beds,along with table and chairs great for adults or kids to hang out away from the main activity. We truly have made this rental " Home Away From Home " Thanks for staying with us.

The owners of the property were great to work with and even with a last minute booking were able to make this happen quickly and without issue! The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood, everything we needed was at the home, plenty of room and a very nice pool! My kids loved fishing from the dock and we even saw a family of otters having breakfast on the dock next door one morning! We drove to Sanibel Island everyday to goto the beach which was only about a 20 minutes away and well worth the trip! Looking forward to visiting again soon! Thanks again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This is one of the most comfortable houses I have ever stayed in. Ever. Most rentals are not as well furnished for comfort. Lots of places indoors and out to sit and read, to socialize, to eat. Well equipped throughout, including a very good kitchen set up. We have stayed here for the last four years, for varying lengths of time. this is only stopping because we have finally bought a house here. --- Which I intend to try to get as comfortable as this one is. Have had lots of company here over the years; the house worked well with four adults and four teenagers and one dog, as well as with just one other person. The trip by water to the beaches is a fairly quick one, the pool is bigger than most and the lanai is wonderfully furnished for unwinding and -- relaxing. I have rented from VRBO all over the states and western Europe and this is one of the best.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
