Take the grand curved Staircase up to the sensational Master Suite with three (3) closets(two walk-in), a Cal-King bed (sleeps 2), LCD TV, ensuite Master Bath with separate soaking Tub, large Shower, Toilet Room and Dual Vanity; an open Loft with computer desk and Futon (Queen/sleeps 2) is off the Master; on the other end of the upstairs are two good sized Bedrooms (with Queen beds that sleep 2 each) sharing a Jack 'n' Jill Full Bath with separate Vanities that can be closed off from the Toilet and Tub/Shower combo area.
The home has an excellent location. Take the 56 east and exit Carmel Mountain Road ~ turn Right onto El Camino Real ~ at top of hill ~ another Right (at Vons center) onto W. Ocean Air Drive....which allows you to "by pass" most of the heavy traffic at the "merge" (where the 805 and 5 join), getting off and onto Interstate 5 just below the usual slow up!
Only a short drive to Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Torrey Pines Golf Course, La Jolla, Sea World, Legoland and the endless activities that our beautiful San Diego offers!

We were in the SD area for a family wedding and rented this house. The house is beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated and in a nice residential area. The house is accurately depicted in the photos. This house is close to shopping and central to all the attractions in the San Diego area. The owner was very responsive to all email inquiries as well as questions once we arrived. I would highly recommend this rental property.

Very clean home with full kitchen facilities (pots, pans, appliances, etc.). The photos in the web site only partially show the incredible layout of the home. The home easily sleeps 8 in the 4 separate bedrooms and 2 more in an upstairs landing area which could easily serve as an open office. This area would be fine for older children. There are HDTVs in the master bedroom, lower bedroom, and in the living room (which had a DVD player) and Cable access with a basic package on all TVs. There is enough to do in the local area during the day that the TVs were nice in the evenings. If you have problems going up/down stairs this home could be a problem, but for us the staircase was just elegant. On our morning walks we discovered the Torrey Hills Park with a cement trail leading very close to the rental unit. It became a morning ritual for us to walk about 100 yards and enter the park’s trail system. If you are a walker or love stairs to climb this park is great. The park also has basketball courts, soccer and full baseball fields. The Birch Aquarium at Scripps was a must see stop, as was the Point Loma lighthouse / Cabrillo National Park area. We also enjoyed visiting the beautiful park like grounds around the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormon Temple next to interstate 5. Go the the Temple grounds in the late afternoon to see the sun shine through the incredible stained and cut glass windows. The beaches of Del Mar were openly available by road side parking but they probably would be pretty busy during the summer. Don't park in the Del Hotel parking lot unless you want to pay $35 for an afternoon spot. The beach and Del Hotel is worth the visit but find a cheaper public parking place. We never had a bad meal in SD and even the Carmel Valley IHOP chain restaurant was above commendable. We had only two issues with the home: the refrigerator ice/water dispenser was not operational and one light bulb was missing from one lamp. Very incidental items and SDB property management will surly fix these items as they were very responsive to my questions to their staff about how to open the lock box and how to operate the cable TV unit. The week went by too fast for our group and we loved having a home to relax in at the end of our daily travels.
