  Beautiful place! The perfect place for our group. The owner was exceptional and answered all my questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond. The place is clean and well decorated, but still has the charm of an old Maine home. There is a beautiful view of the ocean. It is a little bit of a drive to downtown Boothbay Harbor (about 20 mins), but we knew what we were getting into. Overall, it was a perfect place for our group!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  A beautiful cottage for the 14 of us.8 adults 4 children ages 6-9 and a 2 month old. The triangle out in front allowed kids and adults ample space for a game of SPUD and a short walk down to the public beach to cool off. The kitchen and dining space held us al and coming from Vermont we were very pleased that the cottage had provisions for recycling. I would recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a well appointed cottage and one that had incredible views and access to the ocean.

  The cottage was as lovely as I had expected from the previous reviews. It was open and spacious and perfectly decorated. It could not be in a better setting, Ocean Point is absolutely incredible. When you stay here it's like going back in time 100 years, but with conveniences right down the road. You stay here once, you'll always dream about coming back.

  We loved our time at Starfish Cottage! It is beautiful ...much larger than I had thought...and served our purposes so beautifully! Extremely clean, great beds and you cannot get better views! What an incredible place for our family to be together on the weekend of our daughter's wedding at the Wilson Memorial Chapel in Ocean Point! We would love to return in the summer!

  A truly perfect family vacation for our parents' 40th anniversary. We all fell in love with Ocean Point. Here are a few highlights: The weather! Blue skies and in the upper 70s/low 80s all week; sea kayaking out to the lighthouse. One team even scored 2 lobsters straight from the fisherman for morning omelets; summer life at the Casino - kickball, Capture the Flag, softball, ping pong, etc. and the nicest, most welcoming folk up there of all ages; sunset on the rocks - wow; day trip to Monhegan - visiting the fairy houses on the Cathedral Woods trail, lobster stew, cliff views; buying fresh lobster multiple times at Little River; swimming out to the dock at Grimes Cove; and most of all...just relaxing in the yard and enjoying this super well-equipped, cozy, comfortable home with family. It accommodated everyone from age 4 months to close to 65 perfectly! Thanks so much and we hope to return.

  This is as close to heaven on earth as there could possibly be. The cottage felt just like home. It is gorgeous and very well maintained. It has obviously been recently remodeled and the decorating is outstanding. The views are breathtaking and lots of places (and time) for walks along the famous rocky coast of Maine. The first couple of days we could not see the island and lighthouse just off the coast, which was kind neat in itself. Then the offshore fog cleared and it was beautiful the rest of the week. I am planning on coming back next year and even later in the fall. I love lobster!

  Just wanted to say that we love the changes you have made. We have rented this cottage for 10 years and have seen many transformations. Thanks for another great year in Ocean Point!

  I had the opportunity to stay twice this past summer at Starfish Cottage in Ocean Point. The cottage is absolutely fantastic!! There are not enough positive things to be said. It is fresh, bright, open, warm, cozy and charming. The cottage was decorated so tastefully with a very lovely ocean/starfish theme. The views were magnificent from practically every room in the house. The grounds were lush and vibrant and kept extremely well. It was so relaxing and refreshing at the same time. The owners were a lovely, gracious and very welcoming family. I truly can't wait to return for my next stay at Starfish Cottage on Ocean Point.
