The house was perfect for three families including children and adults of all ages and comes equipped with a number great games for kids. Beautiful views and sunsets are a bonus to the warm & friendly atmosphere. It is very close to Mount Sunapee and a short drive to New London. The owner is very accommodating, we would highly recommend for a winter vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Our family rented this house last March. It was the perfect house for a generational family...lots of private areas. The owners were great to work with. We rented it to ski and it was very convenient. Sitting in this house after skiing was fantastic, beautiful views of the lake, a nice fire going in the fireplace and something good cooking in the kitchen. It's a great house, located conveniently close to Mt. Sunapee. I would recommend this property to a large family or a group get-away in any season. Last March we sat on the beautiful deck and watched the ice melt off the lake in 80 degrees...what a great memory. As advertised and more.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: This is a view from our deck with my husband and me and our four children. We built our home when our youngest was three; now she is 21. We have enjoyed many summers, winters and autumns at our Lake Sunapee home with its gorgeous views of the Vermont mountains in the distance and with its 5 minute ride to Mount Sunapee. We boat and water ski on Lake Sunapee and ice skate, snow shoe, snow ski and cross country ski throughout the area. It is also a lovely location for fall foliage and antiquing. It has been rented by families for graduations from Dartmouth College and Colby Sawyer College. A great family home which we are pleased to share with other families. Enjoy!
