Paris Apartment Information:
Our charming Paris studio is on a courtyard in the 15th Arrondissement in a residential neighborhood convenient to all sorts of stores and to two really useful metro lines (one is only 3 minutes’ walk away.) It is about 3/4 mile south of the Eiffel Tower.
It has all the conveniences of a modern apartment including a small but complete kitchen and a modern bathroom (with shower but no tub) a steam iron and a hair dryer. Linens, dishes and kitchenware are provided. There is a stereo with tapes and CDs as well as books in English and French. It has two single beds. There is a laundromat nearby where you can do your own laundry if you wish.
The apartment is not suitable for noisy parties or pets. The rent is $700 per week all year. You may reserve the apartment with a deposit of $200. The balance of the rent is to be paid in full at least 30 days before the start of your stay and will not be refunded unless the time can be filled by someone else, but it can be applied to a later stay. There is a one week minimum for rentals
If you plan to make international phone calls please arrange to use a calling service such as AT&T, MCI or Sprint. Local calls in France cost about ten cents a minute; just leave some money in the tin Kitty Bank near the phone to cover them.
To keep costs down, we must ask each renter to change the sheets and pillowcases just before departing and put the dirty ones in the clothes hamper in the bathroom. Also, be sure to leave the kitchen and bathroom all clean for the next guests.
If you decide to rent please let me know as soon as possible so I can reserve time for you. If you do rent you can pick up the keys at Charna Travel Agency just next door at 86 rue des Entrepreneurs . If you need to make travel arrangements while in Paris, Charna will be glad to assist you –you’ll find them competent and helpful. If you will be arriving very late or very early in the day or on Sunday, be sure to let me know and we will make some other arrangement. If you leave when the Charna agency is not open you must put the keys in their mailbox at 86 rue des Entrepreneurs.
To get to our apartment, go through the big green door at No. 88 into the courtyard. There is a number pad you have to use to get in; ask for the entry code when making reservations . Remember this!! Write it down! You cannot get in without it!! The next-to-last door on the left is ours; it has a number 5 on it. Go up one flight to the door on the right. Instructions for using the apartment are inside. If you run into any difficulty call us in Nyons at the number listed below.
