"A Stay Away" (the phonetic Cherokee language translation of "Cedar Creek", the branch of Lake Keowee on which the property is located) is a true Mountain Lake Vacation Home. It is a 4000 sq ft, Lindal Cedar Home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, large, open common spaces, a stone fireplace, spacious kitchen, and ample sleeping areas.
In addition to two bedrooms with king beds, and one with a queen bed, there is a comfortable queen-sized swing bed on a sleeping porch, and a bunkroom with 4 beds. One of the king-sized rooms also has an additional bunk bed, and each floor has a queen sofa bed, most comfortable for one adult or two children, of course. In addition, there is a pack-n-play for infants, and a futon mattress which can be used for extra sleeping space.

Outdoors, there is a two-level deck, with a jacuzzi, and a two-level dock (great for sunning) on the water, with an extra boat-slip for a rented boat.
Mostly, you'll want to retreat to the quiet seclusion of the cabin itself, and in the summer, the many lake activities available. However, many nearby activities (golf, hiking, shopping) are available, which the owners will be happy to help you research for specifics.
The property is about a 20-minute drive from Clemson, SC, a 30-minute drive from Seneca, SC, 45-minute drive from Greenville, SC, and about 35-minutes from Cashiers, NC.

- Pet Friendly: Must get specific clearance on this from owner. $150 refundable pet fee required.
- Kid Friendly: We love having kids and friends' children join us at the lake. However, there are many special risks to children at any lake home. Please inform the owners of any children which will be staying at the home or visiting, for special advice re: prudent use of the home. We want this to be a SAFE and enjoyable experience for all our guests!
