  My husband and I rented this unit for a month with our golden retriever. It was great! The owner was great to work with and the property was well stocked with supplies. It felt just like home. The bed was very comfortable. The covered garage was great when it rained. Great location too! We liked Surfside Beach so much, we will definitely return and would recommend this unit.

  We really enjoyed our stay here in Surfside Beach, SC. You will find Surfside Beach quiet and serene compared to the neon lights and chaos of Myrtle Beach. But in just a few minutes you can be at an outlet mall, or a delicious restaurant, or the new boardwalk. Or you can stay back and enjoy the many things Surfside has to offer in shopping and dining. The condo is well maintained and there is nothing like having your own pool to enjoy. We were at the ocean in just a 5 minute walk. The sand seemed whiter than at Myrtle beach and there more shells to pick from also. The owners were wonderful to deal with and our dogs enjoyed the stay as well with the raised decks.

  This year was the third time my husband, myself, and our dog have vacationed at this rental and we absolutely love it! The rental is beautiful and comes with all the accommodations of home. In addition to the pool out back, it is located just a few moments from the beach and just a short drive to a variety of local attractions. The owner is a pleasure to work with and is both responsive and accommodating. We have and will continue to highly recommend this property to family and friends and we plan to book any future beach trips here at the Island House!

  I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is needs a true "home away from home". The townhouse is in a great location, 2 minutes to the beach and on a very quiet street. Loved the covered parking on the rare rainy day that I was there. The kitchen had EVERYTHING I could have imagined and needed. The beds were comfortable with beautiful linens. The owner was VERY responsive, even gave recommendations for places to see and eat while I was there. Even has a beautiful covered patio to sit on for morning coffee. Large flat screen TV, wireless internet, outdoor bbq, pool and washer and dryer to just name a few of the many extras. I say, run, don't walk to book this exceptional property today. You and your family will feel like you are truly home here. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  My husband and I returned from our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, and absolutely had the best time! This home was perfect for the two of us, and our two dogs, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Just two blocks to the beach, the home was so convienent. The neighbors were very friendly, and the neighborhood was also very nice. This is a great home to vacation in, and we will definitely be back in the future.

  We are regular vacationers at Surfside Beach and this summer was our best vacation yet. This rental is cute, clean, well decorated, very close to beach access and in a wonderful community. We brought a golf cart to get us to the beach, but it wasn't needed as this home is only 2 rows back! It is also within walking distance to restaurants, ice creme, a park and a new library. There is a pool that is shared by the 4 condos in at this location, but we never saw another guest swimming the entire week we were there! Finally, I would like to say that the property owner was quick to respond to our inquiry, reservation request and returned our security deposit to us after our stay almost immediately! Wonderful customer service and easy to conatct. We have rented private homes before and had a terrible time contacting anyone about the rental. NOT the case here! Great vacation home! Already making plans to be back next year!!!!

  This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we have already rebooked for next year. I love being able to sit on either of the two decks and read my book. Being so close to the beach as well as many attractions makes this location ideal. The owner has always been helpful and quick to reply to any e-mails. It is so nice being able to travel with our dog and he loves this property as well.

  We spent January, 2011, in this comfy townhouse and hated to leave. It is a very short walk to the beach, but nice and quiet. We were happy to be able to have both our dog and kitty with us and our dog especially loved our walks on the beach. If we weren't planning a permanent move to Myrtle Beach, we would definitely come back to this property.

  My friend and I rented this adorable little townhome for a week and we had a fantastic time. First off, the location is wonderful. I love Surfside - its a quiet residential beach town but you are still close enough to the touristy areas in Myrtle. The home is just a quick walk to the beach and it was actually nice to be set off from the beach a bit - very quiet. The place is very cute and cozy with great decor - beachy but still chic. It was also great that I could bring my dog - he loved going for nice long walks in the morning. The pool also came in handy when we felt like getting away from the crowds on the beach. It was also great that the townhome came with everything - including linens - this is rare in beach rental and very much appreciated. The owners are great and were quick to reply with any inquiries we had. They take pride in their home and it shows. Thanks so much for allowing us to rent your home...we will definitely be back and spreading the word to our family and friends!
