  I grew up vacationing on weekends at my grandparent's Alexander home in this same neighborhood in the late 1960's. This home has been restored with exceptional attention to detail for anyone who admires mid-century modern architecture, furnishings and the lifestyle of that era. It looked identical to what I remember as a child. This home was furnished with a combination of new modern furniture mixed with actual early 60's pieces that I remember well first hand! For those who are not into that level of understanding of the era it's still an awesome home with clean lines and a great pool. For those who want to truly experience the quintessential early 60's vibe. This is the house! My family and I had such a great time lounging, swimming, barbecuing,(great grill by-the-way!) We didn't want to leave. The home was super-clean, stocked with everything (tons of towels thank you!) and was a pleasure to vacation in. We'll be back!

  My wife and two children love this beautiful home. The space is ideal for our family of four, both inside the house and out. We enjoyed splashing around in the pool for hours, barbecue dinners under the stars, and pre-bedtime stories by the fire pit. It's a perfect pad for a Palm Springs getaway.

  We arrived at the house and were greeted by the caretaker. It was wonderful to go over the details of the house with him and hear about some of the sights and eats we should check out while in the area. We had a lovely time at the house with our 3 kids. The pool was great and we made s'mores using the fire pit. A great weekend for all!

  Thank you for a home away from home at a comfortable price point. In 2012 we booked his home for one week in short notice, while travelling across California. Returning in 2013, we had checked out other homes and selected to return again to this home. We grew attached to both the fireplace and outdoor shower. As a couple reading books by the pool we were lulled by the landscaping, the lovely palms, bushes and the trickling waterfall which in turn brought birds. As you exit the house for the early morning walk, you look up to the mountains often painted pink by the sunrise but one morning white with snow. View the full moon, while looking up through the bedroom windows, as it sits for a time on the mountain!

  My boyfriend and dog rented this house from August to Mid November we had such an amazing time. It felt like we were on vacation everyday...:) The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we would need but could update on pots/pan and knives set since I love to cook, beds were very comfortable and it's well decorated through out the house. We spent most of our time outside as it's very private and loved the outdoor shower. Todd the house manager was awesome and owner James was so great to work with! We are going to Thailand in March...we will be back and definitely recommend this property.

  My family (including wife and 4yr old son) booked this vacation home in late October for end of November, 2012. It fully met expectations, very consistent with photos and write-up/ reviews, and proved to be good value for money. The owner (James) was responsive, reasonable and good to deal with. Highlights ... gorgeous backyard and pool area, great location, beautiful retro house (very consistent with photos), clean / well maintained, excellent weather. My son learned to swim which added to my experience. Only critical feedback - some modest upgrades could add to the experience like expresso machine, fresh coat of paint in kitchen / dining, updated pots / pans, etc. We plan to return!

  We (4 forty-something gals) truly enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival we met with Tom (the caretaker) who was wonderful and showed us around the house. The house is wonderful and has everything you could possibly want/need. Kitchen amenities were above and beyond for a rental home. Location was perfect... very close to restaurants, shopping and airport. We spent almost all of our time outside, fantastic outdoor space. Unfortunately did not take advantage of the fire pit as it was VERY HOT during our stay but very beautiful. The outdoor shower is a plus! Definitely would stay again. Thank you!!!

  We stayed at house for a short spring break get-away. The house exceeded our expectations cleanliness, styling, and space. We especially enjoyed the beautifully landscape backyard and the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with amenities for your cooking needs. We will definitely stay here again.

  This is the perfect home for enjoying the out door life style Palm Springs has to offer. Enjoyed spending time with grown children and grandson. Will definitely rent this house again. Wonderful pool, barbeque and fire pit !

  We have rented this house twice now (we are a family with two small children). The house is bright, stylishly decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We spent most of our time in the beautifully landscaped backyard. The pool is great and there are ample patio and lounge chairs, including under a shaded porch. The owner and the property manager are friendly and responsive. The location is great - a 5 min. drive to the shops and restaurants on Palm Canyon Drive. There are many fun things to do with kids in the area. We visited the Living Zoo, the Palm Springs Air Museum and Joshua Tree National Park. We highly recommend it.
